    Land lease? That doesn’t sound good… Isn’t that common in Europe but not here?

      I have seen this in Oregon, too. It is government land and the realtor warned me to buy because the land usage supposedly can be changed and then what?

    This cabin is obviously on National Forest land and that’s why there is a land-lease. Not a good idea to buy something like this.

    Susanne I live up here in beautiful Big Bear and we have a few of these types of houses. Here is a link that explains the land lease and how it got started.

    Not a bad 320 sq.ft. in my opinion any way…! I love these type houses or cabins…! The whole house is well designed…
