with a large deck, this could be awesome – glad to see the under the bed storage option, most RV’s have this

Love this house except for the toilet. How much is this house going for?

Almost perfect. I, too, would like to know the cost to purchase this home.

I like it. Especially the two entrance options and white interior.
Although it’s a bit to big to move around often it would be nice to know weight and payload.
Something like this on gooseneck trailer would be my choice.

This is one of the nicest ive seen, an actual hanging closet….fab……Id ditch the lower side shelves in bedroom for a king bed and put shelves higher up. And a shower door vs a curtain.

Nice to see a tiny house with a proper bedroom. I do not care for big bathrooms, so bathrooms do not have to be big. But I do like a proper bedroom, where I do not have to climb a set of stairs or a latter.

The house is nice and well thought out. Good color choices on the inside – not too dark as some tiny houses tend to be. Though I would change the yellow color on the outside. But that is just a matter of taste. Nothing that subtract from the over all impression of the house.

was totally onboard until the toilet. Make that flushable and I am all in!

Wow……almost perfect and such a great kitchen….everything at your finger tips is great. A flushing toilet is a must have for me and I really do not need a huge bed, just a full size for my dogs and me is fine. Love the sofa, real furniture is a must have for me…take that wall with the TV and turn it into a wall of bookcases with the TV in the center and a fake fireplace below….that would be great on those cold winter nights with books and TV at hand. The window area…..different seating with small shelves on the sides and would make a nice seating area for company or a pullout loveseat if it could fit there for sleeping also. I really really love this one….great planning!

This is lovely! Love the all white interior. I would make a couple of changes…most want to customize I would imagine. Firstly, I would make it just a bit longer. 30′ may seem long but I spent some time in a 38′ RV and it was easy to move and the extra room made it really livable. The extra length (doesn’t have to be a full 8′, 3 or 4 feet would be great) would allow for just a little more breathing room like a little more room at the foot of the bed and more counter space in the kitchen. One way to get more counter space without adding much length would be to have a range instead of the cook top and wall oven. Without the wall oven, you could take the counter all the way to the wall and still have a cabinet above and below. Have the upper cabinets butt up against both sides of the hood…who doesn’t want more storage, right? I agree with others that there needs to be a door on the shower and a flushing toilet. I would also want that clothes closet to span the whole back of the bedroom and have sliding doors, not curtains. While you’re at it, make that small reading nook a little wider, too. It would be nice if it could be used for sleeping if you had a guest. The THOW is very nice the way it is but just a couple of changes and it would perfect.

Nice house. Sure hope they don’t leave the guitar in direct sunlight for long. I know it’s a photog thing.

One of the very best so kudos to the designers! The white with light wood is refreshing and other than changing the painted gray in the bedroom and the bluish sofa, I would keep it exactly like this. What a great kitchen with those kickplate drawers makes it all the more practical. I could see myself in this one, for sure!

I really like this unit, but like many have already said, I’d put in a flush toilet. I don’t know why, but nearly all builders insist on putting in showers. I would want a tub/shower. Don’t really care for the double doors in the bedroom. Seems like a huge waste to me mainly due to the fact that the only time you’re in the bedroom is to sleep. I do not care for the under bed storage, but would rather have room to put up a full size old fashion bed frame that would allow storage under, if needed. I would put in a gas/propane stove and do away with the wall oven to give more counter space with cabinets above and below. All together, I really do like the floor plan of this unit.

Well, builders generally actually don’t insist on much because most are custom builders and are doing what their clients want. Most people just prefer to shower these days and it tends to be more practical for tiny houses as they require less space than a tub, normally use less water and that makes them easier to use with smaller hot water tanks, if on demand heater isn’t an option, and allow more space to be allocated to other priorities.

But there are still people who prefer to bathe or have it as an option, which does have health benefits you don’t get with a shower, and so you’ll also see homes with them as well but just not as often. Though, in high end homes you may see both, along with double vanity sinks, etc.

While there are always trade offs to any design choice and it’s good to understand those trade offs to understand why others may choose a different design…

Like what would you have there instead of the double/french doors that wouldn’t make getting around the bed harder?…

Would you rather have an emergency egress window or a door in case you needed to leave in an emergency? Since, any sleeping area needs an egress point…

If you ever replace the mattress or even the whole bed, would you prefer to get it through the narrow bathroom corridor and kitchen to reach the front door or just go through the double/french doors you can open wide to easily access the space?

Will you really always only use the bedroom to sleep, even if you’re by a scenic area with a great view and having something that can function like a balcony to open up the space and allow you to enjoy the view is truly something you don’t see the potential benefit of?

While a bed frame with space below is certainly an alternative way to have storage but how would you access it in such a small room? Especially, if there’s no doors to open up the space and you can only move stuff from the sides of the bed to and from the available floor space?

Then there’s eliminating the wall oven, which will definitely grant you more counter top space but have you considered that a range would require also eliminating all the storage space that is presently below the cooktop to make room for it and that there are both usability and ergonomic differences between the range and the separate cooktop and wall oven arrangement?

A range would be be easier to replace and service, there is the benefit of having more countertop space and that may take priority over having as much storage… A bed frame would be much lower cost than having a custom built bed storage platform built and you wouldn’t have to deal with moving parts that may fail over time… A wall would be better for insulation and can be preferable for privacy and even in limited space you may prefer the wall for something like a wall TV even if you can’t use it for much else… But, as the questions suggest, there’s also reasons other people may make a different choice and those are usually most evident when dealing with custom built homes, especially as the limited space forces prioritization and compromise that will challenge what we prefer from what is practical and what trade offs we ultimately choose to live with…
