Rare 29-foot Airstream Ambassador converted into vintage tiny home

This post contains affiliate links.

This is the Vintage Glamper at the farm at Perch and Nest. It’s an Airstream to tiny house conversion that’s was once an Airbnb vacation rental (now sold). So if you happen to be interested in it, you can book a vacation in it, try it out, and then buy it if you like it. That’s pretty cool!

This is not your budget travel trailer to tiny house conversion, it’s a high-end, quality Airstream conversion that was for sale with an asking price of $67,000 USD. It started out as a 29-foot Airstream Ambassador but it was completely stripped down and renovated by the previous owners out of California. The current owners bought it from them, picked it up, and towed it back home cross country. It’s said to weigh approximately 7000 pounds. Anyway, take a look and please let us know your thoughts in the comments below. Thanks!

I’d like to hear from people who have lived with a wet bath, where the shower shares space with the sink and/or toilet. Is it a nuisance? Or is it a minor compromise that is worth making for the space it saves?

Like many things, it depends and opinions will vary… There’s plenty of RV forums where people give their opinions on them that you can check out for first hand accounts…

But generally considerations are wet baths save space, are easier to keep clean, and can sometimes be roomier than a dry shower because the entire bathroom is the shower… Also, let’s some people sit while showering and some people may prefer that…

Cons is less space to store things, you have to be mindful of the toilet paper cover and may have to go through putting up and taking down a shower curtain every time you shower and there’s the issue of having a wet floor to walk on after… Though, there are accessories you can get like a step floor mat to get around that issue…

But, it can also depend on resources… Wet baths tend to be used in smaller structures, which also tends to mean smaller water tanks but people tend to use more water in a dry bath… So it can be both a matter of saving space and conservation of resources, which can mean the difference from being able to boon dock for while from needing regular hookups, provided there are any tanks…

wet baths – no problem in warm or hot dry weather, not so comfortable in humid or cold weather, unless have excellent extraction fan and heater in this tiny space.
Love this airstream and fit out.
