  I totally loved the outside. But the inside has nothing to it, for the money you want for it. I know housing in Orgon is pricey, but there is alot better, for thousands cheaper. Sorry, but that’s ridiculous.

  The medium price of homes in Oregon is presently around $319,000… and I assume you’re not a fan of accent walls, real Gray oak hardwood floors, Craftsman interior trim in clear finished fir, horizontal white board wall finish, rough sawn cedar ceiling, skylights, real tiled bathroom, real wood stove, etc?

  Irregardless, TruForm is a custom builder. So price should be compared to custom builds, which aren’t going to be as low as standardized structures, which is what you will typically get when going thousands less…

  When something is custom built it means the builder has to do more work and use more expensive materials but it allows the client to get exactly what they want…

  It’s just harder to re-sell it, like the owner is trying to do now, because then the house is optimized for the original owner and the next owner may have completely different preferences… Such as your reaction to it, for example… One person’s dream interior can be another person’s nightmare interior…

  But custom usually also means it was built to high quality. Features like real porcelain tile floor in the bathroom of tiny houses is extremely rare because the house has to be built extremely strong and rigid to avoid the normal flexing and vibrating that occurs when moving the house that would quickly damage and crack the tile… So it’s a sign this house was built to last…

  While everything from the wood stove to the exterior decks are included… And it may help to know that tiny homes are typically easy to renovate…

  There are cheaper options, as you said, but most won’t be as well built, use as much real materials, or be custom built…

  But, there’s always the original builder if you want the same exterior but with a completely different interior… They’ve done bedrooms, elevator beds, and number of other designs around the same exterior style and their website does auto quoting. So you can choose options and see how much it would cost, give or take anything that may not be on the listed options…

  But, unless you really like that exterior, I can also recommend a number of cheaper builders… Not as nice on the finishing work but they still make good homes and some of them are a lot cheaper…

    Irregardless commonly means to not pay regard to or “despite that fact” …. I’m interested in other builders who can do what truform does for a better price and less top of the line material costs.

  Wonder how they transport the decks and steps when/if relocating? Seems that they’d be heavy, and bulky… plus… prone to moving around if inside the TH. Which could be very damaging to other parts of TH methinks.

    The higher deck to the far left is actually part of the THOW and folds up against it when transporting it.

    So it’s only the lower deck that has to be taken apart but once taken apart it packs up and won’t take up much room and can probably just be stowed in the back of the tow vehicle.

    Mind, unless it’s a 5th wheel design that the back of the tow vehicle will be free to store some stuff for the move.

  Too many different wood textures and colors make for a confusing design. To me it looks like someone couldn’t decide if they wanted a modern, traditional or a country look. I’ll pass since it’s not my style.
