Really like the exterior; multiple, interesting angles and colors –grey metal and wood with brown wood tones. The interior initially seems reasonably well designed (nice stairs) and initially gives a spacious feel–with 24 ft one would hope so. However, upon examining it a bit more I find this spaciousness seems to have a price. The house interior is rather barren, especially if one looks for a relaxing living (great) room and kitchen cabinetry space. And personally I find it overwhelmingly white. Of course these are all things that could be changed but first impressions are important.
    Overall, nice work.

Not all houses will come complete with furniture and not all companies have the budget for staging the interior just for the promo shots.

So some imagination is often required to see the potential for the space.

While target markets vary, for example, to give some idea of how extreme people’s tastes can be there are people who utterly hate the look of wood and there are those who absolutely love it… When designing a home it is not really possible to appease everyone but light colored interiors are usually preferred to give a sense of openness and space.

But that’s the great thing about being able to go to a custom builder because they can make it any way you want and you don’t have to limit your options to what may already be made…

While this is on sale on Tiny Home Builders, the actual builder was Raw Creative Designs (Austin, TX) and a few of their houses have been on HGTV’s Tiny House, Big Living…

It is so white like you are afraid to move around. I need to have wood around to feel comfortable. I hope no body I know has one like these

I wonder how people like the bedrooms where the mattress is snug against three walls. Seems like sheet-changing and bed-making would be difficult, and it might feel claustrophobic. The exterior is interesting and pleasant to look at, at least on one side. Personal touches, and maybe a bit of colored paint on one wall, would make the interior cozy and enjoyable. I’d like one larger window in the living room. And I wish they had built in a spot for an oven or microwave, so you wouldn’t have to just set it on the counter. Overall, they did a good job.

having the mattress up against three walls would make me feel very safe.have you seen these lofts in tiny houses, they are not very safe.if you roll out of bed you could possibily end up on the first floor.

Merryl, how many people have you ever heard of rolling off the foot or head of their bed instead of to the sides?

Note, in most lofts it would be either your head or feet facing the loft edge… and not all lofts are wide enough for you to easily rotate. While you will usually have three walls in a loft as well and some lofts put some distance between the edge and where the bed is actually placed.

So it’s not actually very likely anyone will just roll over and fall off the loft… Unless, of course, you sleepwalk but you should tie yourself down no matter what you sleep in then…

Alison, could always opt to replace that wall air vent with an overhead convection microwave range hood vent. Just move the shelves over a bit to make room…

Or, if you didn’t need all that under cabinet space then you could opt for an in-wall oven or the drawer microwave…

Or you can replace that little side table just past the kitchen counter with storage cabinets that can hold the microwave and any other kitchen appliances you want and thus also keep them out of the way when not needed and out of sight… but still leave room for a couch in that far corner… Make it a rolling fold out table and it can even be additional prep space when needed, like a mobile kitchen island…
