As much as I LOVE the white slat wood interior, I gotta ask….where’s the stove?

It’s tricky when it’s from a custom builder because they’re typically showing off what they recently built for a client just before it’s delivered. Most usually don’t have the budget to do show models, so it’s usually the only way for them to show off their work and build up a portfolio to show off to future clients.

Mind, people can have very different ideas of how a kitchen should look and function. Some people don’t even need to cook because they’re on a raw food diet, for example… They may just hate cooking or they may just prioritize counter space more and all the cookware stores away, including the range. Or sometimes the client plans on installing things themselves. So the builder may simply not have them to show when they take these photos and do their video tour.

There’s also other situations, like when used as a guest house or AirBNB then the owner could have issues where they are located that prevents having a secondary structure with a kitchen. Since, some single family zoning may limit the number of kitchens to one per lot and if it’s the secondary home, like an ADU, then that conflicts with the main house… While a BNB may simply have it that the owner provides food as part of the service when the home is rented, as that’s potentially more profitable, justifying a higher rental fee, and less maintenance and clean up for the owner, which can allow faster turn around times for letting the next person rent it…

So many reasons why layouts may not be what we expect but as it’s custom someone else can do it differently…

Aha! I hadn’t considered the “raw food diet” thing…namely because I’ve never heard of it before.
Still seems strange without a stove, but like you say, it is a custom, built to a customer’s specifications.

I have been with the Sprout Tiny Home investor from almost the start. A very good friend of mine told me about the project. I am sure eventually the stocks are going to rise fast and I am going to benefit from my investments.

Absolutely love this house! My family and I are looking to buy a tiny house in the future, love looking and seeing ideas for our own! (Starting off with rv living this summer!!) We would half to either section off the loft space, or make sure the seating area turns into a bed. As we have two children (13&7)! The finishings are beautiful! The dark on the outside, with all white inside is gorgeous!!! I personally want a Chinese soak tub, but that shower is perfect too! A compose toilet! Yes!

      LaRay,

If you don’t mind non-wheeled tiny homes, you might want to check into Kanga Room Systems.
Their designs are some of the smartest I’ve seen so far.

Yes, but if you live outside of Texas then they’ll only sell you a kit…

True…of course, there’s nothing stopping you from renting a truck and going down there and getting it yourself…a bit outlandish, I grant you, but where there’s a will, there’s a way.
