A Takagi tankless water heater and a Williams ventless propane heater (14,000 BUT) help keep the tiny house warm on all accounts! Does this have a hot water heater and if so how big? Also, does it have a grey tank for used water collection? What is the tongue weight and total weight? Where is this located? How much are you asking? Thank you.

The Tiny House Listings posting indicates it has a Takagi tankless water heater and a Williams ventless propane heater (14,000 BUT)…

Only mentions a 26 fresh water tank, along with exterior 65 and 130 gallon capacity tanks, but no mention of a gray tank…

and 310 Sq Ft on 24′ trailer but no mention of total weight… It’s located at Fort Collins, CO and asking price is $64,495…

You can contact the owner from the Tiny House Listings page, same title as this article…

Very nice house. It does have everything. I love the deck but not how to get there. I like to be able to get on the deck from inside my house. I love farmhouse sinks but want one with a 60/40 split. Easier to do dishes and rinse them. Nice house.

I don’t understand why the builder or customer neglect to put some kind of a ramp on the edge of those lofts. Imagine falling down during the night and break your neck!

Hey Claude, there are always risks and many safety features mainly mitigate them but don’t actually remove them…

So it’s more a question of what someone considers acceptable risk and what actual risk factors they may have…

Someone who is very well coordinate isn’t in as much risk as someone who is clumsy, for example… Some people are also so physically fit they can literally just hop down from the loft, but others may risk breaking bones even falling a single foot…

Mind, there are other risk facts besides just falling… Like someone who smokes may have to worry about starting a fire in the loft and needing to get down fast… Or, depending on where they live, they may worry more about someone breaking in and needing to get down and ready to fight in a hurry…

A ramp or rail may also make it harder to maneuver to get to the ladder to climb down for the short loft or make it more likely to trip and tumble down the stairs in the other loft…

There are basically different ways at looking at it… But it’s easy enough to add a ramp/rail…

While there’s also practicality and timing… Someone selling a Tiny House may leave things out for the customer to put in… Mind, it’s a lot easier to get a bed into the loft if there’s nothing there to block you doing so and it’s easy enough to add a rail, ramp, etc. once everything is in place.

Also, if nothings is there then that leaves it open to customization… Like you could put a closet at the edge of the loft instead of a ramp or rail…

So leaving it open isn’t always an oversight or risk taking… While some people may prefer it that way and simply accept the risks…

Like James said Claude, as the owner you can make all the changes you want. If the builder does them it will be much more costly for small projects that anyone with a screwdriver or hammer can do.
