It’s a 1992 27-foot Monterey travel trailer that has been completely renovated with approximately 200-square-feet of space inside. It has a full kitchen, bathroom, bed, couch, and ample storage.

The trailer requires full hookups because the holding tanks were bypassed and capped to create more space for the bathroom. What do you think?

Have you ever considered a trailer conversion like this instead of a tiny house on wheels to save money on the purchase?

This one, for example, is $10,500 used.

This one does not do it for me. Four kinds of wood in close proximity to one another and the forest wall paper and dark wall colors makes the entire interior look cluttered – and it is basically just a bed, a couch and a kitchen. The lamps does not suit the room.

Yeah, the design choices definitely don’t suit everyone but I think they did a really great job though!

iv’e been thinking of doing that same thing with mine, just don’t know where to start. do you have pictures while building it?

Uh…. I like the vessel sink, but if I got it I’d have to strip it, repaint to more pleasant colors, remove the wall paper, put in a composting toilet. The shower looks ok, but without at least a clean water system it isn’t what I’d call moveable. Unfortunately it isn’t done to my standard. Maybe a hunter would like it, because it seems more like a duck blind than a cabin or home.

I like this, actually. Quirky decor but it looks very livable.

I know to each his own….but there is no way I would want this trailer, the decor choices made were personal and not for the masses. I think the price is too high.

When I saw the price I didn’t expect much and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. It’s very nice for that price. Is there a way to make it off grid?

For the price and condition, I would buy this today! The trouble is, I would need it delivered. I don’t find the colors to my taste, but I can remedy that. I like the wallpaper and lamps. I would probably want it in Florida, near a lake, but not on either Coast. Nice ly done, owners!
