153 Year old Methodist Retreat Cottage With Prairie Wagon Bed

Thomas has owned this 153-year-old Methodist Retreat Cottage in Glyndon, Maryland for 25 years, and has pictures of his great-grandfather and family from nearly 100 years ago spending time at the 13×40 cottage.

Now the cottage acts as a “man cave” for Thomas and his son, and as a vacation spot they rent out to interested parties. The interior is so unique, with art and items from five generations of family. You can sleep in a normal bed, or how about a prairie wagon?

Enjoy the photo tour of his awesome cottage below!

Where is this located? Sleeps how many? Other than calling Thomas do they list it on any sites (Airbnb, Vrbo, etc)?

Well, the number suggests it’s in Hanover, Maryland… Doesn’t appear to be any listings online.

Yes, I had checked the area code also. I was just hoping that Natalie might have some more specific location/listing information.

I see that they not only have a spare leg but also a spare hand. Is someone worried about losing a limb?😉. It’s a really fun little space but I can also see why they don’t live there 😂

Leg might be a not so subtle hint to get a leg up if you intend to get into the wagon and sleep in it, if staying the night…
