    I think the house is entirely too cramped and this is because of the terrible layout.

    I would stay here in a New York Minute! At a meager $60/bucks per night, it’s cheaper than a Super 8 motel!!!

    Cute as can be, wonderfully self contained and it has ALL that I’d need after a busy day of visiting the wonderful local area. The kitchen area is impressive; I love to cook on holiday, just to save money for the theatre or other special events. 😀

    I don’t think I’ve ever seen a toilet plugged into a wall outlet before. What’s up with that?

    @PRINCESS MOM—

    I suspect that this is one of the incinerating or composting toilets that needs elec to work. Not exactly sure how the composting ones work with elec but maybe some sort of fan?

      it’s a “natures head”, it has a small fan to help vent gasses

    that’s exactly what I want to build – that’s a 10×12 right? if it is I can have that in my yard – building codes up to 120 without permits- in nyc- anyone looking to do this with me email and we talk – [email protected]

    @ANNIE—

    Please check VERY carefully—I suspect that NYC will “allow” a 120sf “Structure” but perhaps NOT a fully fledged HOUSE out there without wanting to come take a peek; change your assessment and control exactly WHAT and HOW you do this.

    They might allow a building for a shed or even a small studio–but once you get into plumbing and toilets—

    Would hate to have you put money time and effort into this dream only to have NYC come and condemn it. After all—aren’t they right now doing a “crack down” on even a wind blown piece of PAPER on your lawns? As if you all can afford to live there and sit home watching the yard for bottle tossers and plastic bags to come sailing along!

    I stayed here a couple of years ago. It was very comfortable for me. The layout and amenities worked well. The large private outdoor deck got afternoon sun and was lovely. The chickens, rabbits and gardens were delightful. The family, especially the young daughter, was very welcoming and helpful. I recommend s stay!!
