Tall Tiny House Getaway near Belleville Ontario

It’s a TALL 10 x 10 tiny house!

It’s 10-ft by 10-ft in its footprint.

This is what it’s like inside.

When you’re inside, suddenly, you feel elevated because of the view.

I can see how being in this cabin makes you feel like you’re in a treehouse. It must be so fun! You can even open a window.

On the main level, right by the entry, there’s the kitchenette. It’s very basic but functional.

You can make coffee and prep your meals with joy from here.

Heading upstairs through the wooden staircase to access the sleeping loft.

The number of windows and their positioning really make this place magical.

View of the cabin from the loft shows you how tiny it really is. At 10×10, it’s about the size of a bedroom in an apartment.

The sleeping loft is cozy, but there is plenty of headroom, and likely most room for most people to stand up easily.

There’s also an outdoor kitchen sink and prep table.

Can you imagine being here at night?

The deck has lounge chairs, a dining set for two, and an outdoor kitchen.

Looks like there’s even a patch of grass right on the deck.

The windows on this cabin are super cool!

Pathway to the outdoor shower…

Outdoor grilling.

The outhouse.

Firewood.

This house was designed and built by an architect and is 10 x 10 foot in size. The bright windows and charming seating area on the lower level are great for cozying up with a good book. Upstairs is a wonderful sleeping area fit for two. Glampers will also have a toaster oven, a hotplate, and a microwave for cooking up some tasty bites.

Amazing how spacious it looks inside. Well done. Airy with all the windows, nicely arranged, nice nice nice.

Wow! So, I’m not sure I would want to live in this….I like wooden structures and something more broad of base with a shanty roof. However…and this is a big however…..this is a really cool structure! Beautifully designed and crafted. It is the kind of simplicity I strive for, very minimal. The light downstairs is very good! And the bed upstairs looks like it would be really cozy at night. The main structure itself looks like an upended shipping crate. If this were mine I think I would expand the upstairs windows downward so I could lie in bed and have a view outside. Other than that….hats off to the architect!!!

Of all the designs I’ve seen, I like this one the best. It’s simple, warm, elegant and the height gives that felling of spaciousness without losing that sense of home.

I really love the look of it, but… an outhouse? Really?

Haha, I have lived in cabins with outhouses so it never occurred to me that others would pick up on it as anything unusual or undesired. If they are done up really nicely they are doable though! 🙂

GiGi…right? and it looks like it would be a hike to get there! If it were me (and it isn’t) I would turn the “container” on its long side…make a downstairs bedroom and indoor plumbing. I am 67, below-knee amputee and would probably end up hurting myself! But, for glamping and younger and more physically sound, I LOVE it; seriously!

Interesting concept, I would probably run the top floor wall to wall, keeping the same size bed so you could get to 3 sides of it. Then add a open ceiling pitched roof with windows in both gable ends

The windows gives this a lot of class. Stairs are real nice. What one could do with a design like this. Be nice if it was a lot wider…. Love this.

“Can you imagine being here at night?” Uhm, actually no, I couldn’t. Suit some people but not me. And the reason is more practical than “nah, don’t like it.” I have bad knees and, probably arthritis in both knees as well, so that makes it a non-starter for me. Plus a long, long commute from lil ol’ New Zealand. LOL

I almost passed this by , Glad I didnt! I love the inside layout and real stairs to the bedroom! Only thing I dont care for is the red exterior , but then you do look at the inside more. I would prefer a more neutral color like the outhouse, but thats me.

Fascinating! Love the wood and cabin feel — great windows too. The outhouse is a bit far for me tho in my family’s cabin in my youth — we thought nothing of it (helped that it was close to the cabin and it never snowed there) :)!

It’s all fun and games until there’s snow!
