Love the whole thing; the house, the vaulted ceilings, the skylights, the decor; just everything. Why is she selling this?

I love this house. I love the design and the bed on the bottom instead of a loft. If it was in S.C. I would buy this.

I like it, but wonder if the height is too high to make it truly road legal or if vardos just look that way. 60K for something that seems to have convenient room for one or two at most, seems like a lot. I am seriously considering cheaper options that have similar or greater capacities. I want acreage. RV or trailer parks are options, but are more crowded and more expensive for what they offer than what I like.

      Misty,
Height looks fine for travel. If you want acreage, I’d consider purchasing the land & building on site the little house of your dreams. In my parts, you could get an acre, sink a well, install a septic, & build a tiny home for about the price of this unit alone. Many areas (counties) will allow you to park a travel trailer & run temp power under a specified time limit once you have submitted plans & obtained permits. Travel trailers can be found cheap, this gives you a place to stay while your home is being built or you build it or whatnot.
There are also small park model mobile homes that are 300-500 sq ft that still may fit in a similar budget.

Zyl Vardos are hands down my favorite tiny houses out there….when I sell my house, it’s definitely the direction I’m heading in. What I don’t get is why someone would go to the time and expense of having this custom built and then sell it….is there something we should know?

I love this one. This man builds the most beautiful homes. You should go to his website and see his other homes. If I had the money I would buy this in a heart beat.

I really love this one to! I bought a 12×24 storage shed with porch on front and it looks like a dark wood and yet it’s metal.
Working on turning it into a tiny home here in Florida. So I been looking at tiny houses for a few years now getting ideas. Mine is a single level as well. So this just gave me a wonderful idea with the vaulted ceiling.

I loved the first Little Bird which is now in Portland, but this seems more functional than the first. There are however touches in the first lacking in this. Over all I’ll take function and this has it in spades!

I could SOOOOO easily live in this very happily! Wish I could afford to buy it! But alas, I am retired, living on a MINIMAL fixed income, and no one in their right mind would lend me the money for it!

This is extremely well designed — the height in the kitchen makes the kitchen feel SOOO much larger! Nice design — only thing I would have to do to live in it in Florida would be to add A/C, which could be done vey easily, so certainly not a problem!
