Vivre en Mini: La Contemporaine

This post contains affiliate links.

This is La Contemporaine (The Contemporary), a tiny house built by Quebec’s Vivre en Mini. The sleek and modern home acted as the company’s sales model.

This is an exceptional chance to get a fully equipped and usable year-round version. After loyal services during the Spring Salons, we put on sale our demo. This mini-house is technological, combining a management by home automation as well as a high-end sound system. We used the best materials in its design, ranging from aluminum trailers to institutional grade flooring.

There are tons of details (including price) available below. Enjoy!

Sleek furniture in a wonderful living room space!

Lots of windows to let in the sunshine. Perfect.

Plenty of cabinets and a nice large sink for doing dishes.

The bright red door to the bathroom is awesome.

Fridge and stove/oven for all your cooking needs.

Handy folding furniture! Allows space when you need it.

Bathroom also features good cabinet storage.

Those tiles are too fun! I love seeing something different.

Residential toilet and even more storage for linens, etc.

This home has nifty “smart” capabilities. Details below.

Beautiful light on the exterior of the home.

Love the wooden siding. It might be my favorite color of stain.

Is this your future tiny house on wheels?

It seems to be high quality. I couldn’t see the bed under the kitchen and their website is in French only. The huge glass walls are great but should be covered when under way and blinds preferably between the glass would be nice to get some privacy.
Price tag seems to be reasonable but I guess you have to add the whole bunch of options shown in the pics and then you are high again.

If you open the website in Chrome and right click, there will be an option to “Translate into English.” It’s rough, but that’s how I do it (I don’t speak French!) haha. You can also just open Google Translate in any browser and copy and paste the text if you are curious.

Michael, the trundle bed is one of their optional features… Since there’s no loft above the kitchen they can always just raise it…

Like many tiny house builders they’re just listing custom features to choose from, which the show model may or may not have… and at this price range probably just about anything in the design can be changed if they’re building a new one for you… Though, unless you’re in Canada, it may cost a fair bit to have it delivered to you here in the states…
