This is an Upper Mohawk Point THOW for sale in Ontario.

It comes with both a loft sleeping area and a 7 ft 8 in x 7 ft 3 in the master bedroom on the ground level, allowing you to sleep without climbing steps! The kitchen includes a small oven, a larger refrigerator, and a beautiful tile backsplash. I love that there’s space for a sectional in the living room and the faux stone fireplace makes the whole place so warm.

This home is stunning. The use of space makes this home “work”. I currently own a rental (3b/2b ranch in a small GA town). I was amazed at how the housing market picked up as we now collect $1,100 per month for 1,000sf of heated space. Neighboring homes exactly like it are selling for $140,000. I say all this because I feel the prices for “luxury” THOW’s are not that high. Yes, the DIY’ers will baulk & scream at the cost of such luxury but I’d be willing to swap my little ranch home for this gem any day! (Then, a nice North GA river lot to put it on; sign me up!)

Yes it’s all quite relative, Melissa! And renting is certainly not cheap!

All I would add is some sort of flat surface on the tub. I am an amputee so I need something to sit on to get into the tub. Other than that PERFECTION!

A washer-dryer hookup is mentioned. Is it in the kitchen or bathroom. A TV would have to go above the fireplace. Love this floor plan!

    • Natalie C. McKee
      June 2, 2017, 12:28 pm

I think it’s in the bathroom, but you’d have to ask the realtor to be certain.

This is a great THOW! So open and airy feeling with all of the natural light. Good balance of painted and stained wood. Well thought out floorplan and I love the idea of a main floor bedroom as I have mobility issues which limit my abilities on stairs. The descriptors indicate a fold-down dining table but I can’t see it. Also, I looks as if the kitchen sink is missing a faucet.
I’d love to see a way to get a bit more counter space in the kitchen, even if it takes a bit of space from the living room. Maybe a peninsula near the refrigerator where the sofa currently sticks out???

    • Natalie C. McKee
      June 8, 2017, 2:32 pm

I don’t see a fold-down table either. And I imagine they would put in a faucet for the kitchen, but I also can’t see it. That peninsula is a good idea, but you’d just have to be ok with less couch.

It appears that if the stove is hot you could burn yourself trying to wash dishes in the sink. I would trade in the stove for extra counter space and just have a 2 burner and a toaster oven. Other than that great space.

Would like to buy a larger Tiny House with bedroom on the first floor. With a piggy back washer & dryer, and a dishwasher, with a nice size bath/shower. Including a front porch to relax on.

If anyone is selling such a Tiny House on own land, I would like to pay you cash for such a house. I would like this to be in Ma./N.H./Maine. I would not rule out a community setting, year round living.

    Kindly contact.
