If you’re in Florida or are up for a trip to Orlando then this might excite you because Tumbleweed is having a tiny house workshop led by Jay Shafer in Orlando, Florida this January 26-27, 2013.

This is a lecture style workshop where Jay will guide you through the entire process of designing, building, and living in a little house. He will also cover such topics as:

  • Composting toilets
  • Compact appliances
  • Trailers
  • Preventing moisture

And much more. One of my favorite parts of these workshops is getting to meet a bunch of other like-minded people who also want to live in tiny houses.

It’s an intensive two day workshop where you’ll gain all of the knowledge and confidence you need to not only design your own really small space but also build it.

Wow, I have friends I’d love to see in Orlando. Too bad I can’t go due to disability and finances. Will look forward to seeing posts here and on Youtube re: the workshop.
