    I wish you would show more with one floor. Many of us seniors are downsizing and can’t deal with the ladders and narrow steps to the loft. show us more one floor houses. thanks

    So… how does that small truck tow such a heavy tiny home???

      Probably because it’s not that heavy of a Tiny House, they’re not all built extremely heavy…

      This is only a 28 feet model, the really heavy ones are in the over 30 foot length range… and that roof shape also means it has a little less mass towards the front than the usual brick shaped house… The interior isn’t loaded with stuff either…

      The newer half ton trucks are also starting to offer pretty good towing capacity… Like Ford’s 2018 F-150 with 3.5L EcoBoost V6 is rated to tow up to 13,200 lbs, while the models with the 5.0L “Coyote” V8 get a maximum payload number of 3,270 lbs that can be placed in the truck bed… Along with introducing 10-speed rear-drive transmission…

      So towing something around 8000 lbs is certainly doable…

      Though, if you need to tow uphill, off-road, etc. then definitely still go for a dually 3/4 ton truck or a 1 ton if you’re planning on towing a 40 footer…

      Though, steel framed and especially SIP and MIP constructed Tiny Houses can be significantly lighter than the wood framed houses…

      And it helps if you skip using drywall, stone counter tops, etc. that can add a lot of weight…

    Very clever move to taper the counter in the bathroom allowing you to have plenty of counter top in an otherwise unusable space. This is all around a beautiful house. I love what they didn’t do as well as what they did do!
    Did = Normal sized shower!
    Didn’t = Put kitchen shelving in front of windows. (Totes hate that.)

    Years ago (for pay the Academic studios) I worked as an educator of a five year old child in a family of only four members plus servants in a sumptuos history villa on the Lake Como of the “700” in Rococo style, former residence of a cardinal confiscated in the Second War, around 45 rooms on the three levels, to reach our room (my and baby)we had to walk through the long corridors and rooms that followed infinitely. I was scared but I was fascinated by the story and from that sad silence the loneliness, the void that the hosts expressed, not joy in songs of joy but the lonely loneliness of those who know how be very rich and marginalized. When I had to lave then all they were puzzled and sadly asked me :…”do not you feel good here with us…? It was sad to leave them, but also strange because I was almost compassionate to them who were rich while I ….no
    What are we really, looking for? Things or Feelings?
