Tour the Periwinkle: Patti’s Adorable THOW

It just doesn’t get cuter than this!

After some students built the Periwinkle shell, Patti purchased the home and outfitted the inside in her own signature style. The walls are a beautiful turquoise blue, she has a loft bedroom, cozy living area (with an awesome green chair!), and a super-functional kitchen. Patti said she purchased probably 50% of her interior off Craigslist or similar listings, which just goes to show you that recycled can be adorable.

This might be one of my favorite tiny homes. Go Patti! Take her video house tour with Tiny r(E)volution below!

Patti’s tiny home is AWESOME! I got to meet her and tour her tiny home at the NC Tiny House Street Festival this past weekend. Of all the houses there, hers was by far my favorite. I went through it three times and didn’t want to leave. The students did a terrific job with the build, and Patti’s finishes are incredible. Patti was a lovely, patient hostess.

One more quick comment: Patti’s shower stall is incredibly clever. She used a white 36″ shower base and Wilsonart Laminate (counter top material) on the walls! The corners and base are caulked. The pattern is very 50s retro and matches her color scheme perfectly. This is the first time I’ve seen laminate used this way, and I think it’s brilliant. Look for it in the video.

I think this is one of the best designed I’ve seen. I just love the fabrics you’ve used, the lights up in the maybe second loft (?) with the swans, with the wonderful window behind. This is wonderful.

Patti, I love the lack of clutter and the colors and the great design. ALSO, are the blue tall things in your kitchen (on the counter) Van Briggle pottery candle sticks or vases? They go perfectly with that color, whatever they are! Good job.

I would like to know where Patti got her couch/bed from. Did she have it made for her? If it was made for her who made it? Natalie could you find this out for me?

Patti what size is your bathroom? Is it 2.8 x 7.8? How long are your kitchen counters?
