What a gorgeous view of the mountains over the pines! Really like the way the inside of the TH is built, but I’m not fond of the style on the outside.

I clicked on the Esately link to find out more about it. This one comes with 2 acres and an outhouse – not bad when the price includes the land!

Hope it’s well insulated. There’s a lot of overhead space to heat.

An outhouse – no thanks. I’m willing to do without, but in the mountains when it’s snowy, I prefer indoor plumbing – even dry compost! The view is gorgeous, but the outhouse……….

I’ve been through Ward several times and it is beautiful. The cabin is cute but needs more windows in a site like that. However, the deal breaker for me is the outhouse. No way! I’m with Janet. When it’s cold and snowy outside and you have to go in the middle of the night, that is not fun. Been there done that—when I was much younger. Now that I am 70, it’s indoor plumbing all the way for me. Also, I live in a small town in the Colorado mountains and believe me, it can be VERY dark in the middle of the night out here, plus, there are bears.

I love it. I would have to do more investigating, Insulation for instance. And see what it would cost for a composting toilet inside.
