I love the rounded “landing” at the top of the stairs. I also like that the stairs are open for storage. Well thought out wee cabin.

I agree on the landing, but my first thought on the stairs was “oh, great, 5 coffee tables’ worth of clutter!”

Different, but nice…!A little dark, but nice… It reminds me of my old sailboat in some ways, with its, mahogany, and teak interior, sorry I ever sold that boat….

Would look terrific with birch, pine or maybe oak?? I agree, the wood is dark but it lends itself to the feeling of “cozy.” I wonder if having more natural light would help?

I would think so, maybe even a white maple, or just white pine clear finished…!

This is very nice. I like it a lot, but it’s not Victorian; it’s a “Craftsman” cottage; the windows alone should tell you this.

It’s both. The windows and front door are Craftsman, and the tile surrounding the tub is *definitely* textbook Craftsman. The paint colors, the ornamental siding, the gingerbread, and the spindles on the balcony railing, and the porch column and railing are all Victorian/Queen Anne. The interior decor is, um, probably cabin/rustic (and a little dark).

And a hot tub AND a soaking tub, heh. These owners luv them their hot soaks.

N-I-C-E and cozy! I love the work on all the woodwork. Though the loft would be a killer for me, it was lovely too. Three thumbs up!

What an absolutely sweet little house. I do like the darker wood because it makes it feel cozy to me. I am crazy about that little tub—just my size since I am only 5 ft tall. 🙂
