I prefer on wheels but this could really be nice for a base camp.

They really did make this a ‘tree’ house didn’t they? It does qualify, even though it is a bit different from what one did expect. I like that it was built next to the some 1000 year old fortress which at this point has become part of it’s natural environment. This little ‘fortress’ has much visual interest despite being simple. It is just enough – not too much, not too little, perfect for a Thoreau type lifestyle, but with everything one needs to be comfortable. This is a perfect getaway for a writer or a reader, or someone who just wants to camp out without being found. I love the wood accentuation (everything) to add warmth.

I wonder how many centuries of people got to enjoy that small waterfall wading pool for their drinking water, washing, and bathing water over the centuries. This whole thing is perfect.
