I am not on Facebook, so I can’t enter this competition, which is a pity! I love the newsletter and information. Thank you for running the website!
Here in UK we have a biggish family house, with hubby and 3 adult children living here, plus my daughter is starting a baking business at home! And the dog! In France we live small in our holiday house – 50 square metres in a small, rural hamlet. It has made me realise we don’t need so much space or STUFF.

I would like to be entered in the giveaway. Truly considering a tiny home. I enjoy reading the newsletters and browsing the homes. Do you know of a builder in the Louisiana area Alex? Are there any tiny home communities that you know of in Louisiana? I truly appreciate any information you have to share. Have a bless day.

I reserved the first book at the library and really enjoyed it. I hope I can win one of the other books. I hope to downsize to a tiny house once I retire and my 19 year old son finally moves out of the house.

You’re breaking my heart! I am a daily reader, and I’m a huge tiny house fan who spreads the word, and I am looking forward to living in my own tiny-to-be. However, I don’t do Facebook. I truly despise the thing, so there’s no way I am going to join it again. I have tried it twice and was bitten by undesirable events, so no, never again! I’m so disappointed that your contest is limited to FB users only.

As my world gets smaller with the stuff that surrounds me, I dream of the uncluttered life and freedom a Tiny House offer’s. I eagerly await your news letter to arrive in my inbox. Living vicariously through the creativity of others. I am looking forward to the day that I too will join the Tiny House Movement!

I enjoy reading the info on the Tiny Houses and also reading people’s responses! As a landlord, I wish I could find people who want to have a tiny house up in Northern NY, so we could build them a custom tiny home rental at a reasonable price, on our 140 acres… We are 6 miles form Potsdam NY, very near Canadian Border, and it gets cold so we would not build on wheels – it would be a very well insulated tiny house… Our existing tiny home now has an addition but we still only charge $700 a month, with electricity included.

Glad Alex will include us nonfacebook users. I have belonged to this newsletter since falling upon its inception. Daily I look forward to all info. As a tiny shelter dweller for four yrs (24×8 travel trailer) and in process of my th build. I depend on Alex presentations and constant updates to my plan. I personally am trying here in Tn. To bring about change to current build codes an laws concerning land here in our state, and th erection. Currently a struggle and we are all stuck in rv parks at the moment. With this sites ability to bring about awareness, I am a dedicated reader. Thanks and safe journeys to y’all this 2016

I don’t live real close to any of your instructional sites. But, I do live in an area where 3 states come together, Ohio, West Virginia and Kentucky. Which has either older couples that would not want or be able to climb ladders or young couples with small children. So these are a different challenge and would need more lower floor space, I believe lofts would be good for storage mostly. I think this area is more into the small house type, most likely which would not be mobile or stairs with storage instead of ladders only. I have studied many of the plans and already built units shown on the site for about 2 years now. Do you Know anyone in this area? I’ m not ready yet but I have drawn some plans for myself and have considered starting some modified demos to sell with these needs in mind. Please reply, comments welcome!

This is the perfect time to say I love your site. I do not facebook or tweet, but I do pin! I do not have a tiny house, but I think I am getting closer to doing it with every post I read. Please keep doing great work.

I am not really up to date with all this new computer jargon and would actually sometimes like to throw my computer out the window. But I have refrained from doing this so far, so this new pinning or to pin something, how does one do this? And what does it mean? If someone would be so kind, is this the same as thumbs up? Thank you Jean C.

Jean, whatever you do, DO NOT throw your computer out the window. Pinning something means you put a link to it through Pinterest. If you don’t use Pinterest, then you can’t do that (unless you want to open a Pinterest account). Apparently, you can use Facebook or Twitter to somehow “thumbs up” this site, but Alex, remember, in some cases you are talking to people who aren’t up on all of the computery jargon so maybe you could explain to us?
