When you ask people when tiny houses were invented you get all sorts of answers.
And it’s true that they’ve been around for a long, long time.
We all know it can be safe to say that humans started out with tiny homes as shelters.
So what we’re really doing is going back to the basics.
That being said, little homes come in all shapes and sizes. And their builders can get quite creative.
Before tiny houses were commonly built on utility trailers it was more common for them to be built right into trucks. As you know, we refer to them as housetrucks.
See how Rob Maison is building his own little house on his 1959 French Troop Carrier. It’s going to be his summer house in Devon, England. Also see his studio. This house was also recently seen on Cabin Porn.
If you enjoyed Rob’s housetruck “Like” and share using the buttons below then if you want talk about it in the comments. Would you consider building your tiny house in unison with a truck instead of on a trailer?
