Very nice, I think this design layout would work just as well for me in what I want to build, when I convert what is sold now as a shed, into a small hunting cabin for clients. However, those bathrooms really have to stop showing up. Such a waste of good space. 9/10 times you are going to be pulling this into a campground anyway, and be able to use their facilities. In my case, that would make a great storage area for gear, clothes, etc.
Hi Pat, I love the bathrooms and everything on one floor. Where my retired husband and I go traveling 8/10 there are no facilities. We live in ours as we slowly travel from the West coast to the E coast & back. We have a sun shower/tub & can heat water on our propane stove.
Where the 2 bunks are I would convert to office space with storage under the couch/bed and make the kitchen area smaller.
The solar panel is flat on the roof? It should be raised up 2-4″ for air circulation. Installing flat can cause power fluctuations.
Till you need that bathroom in the middle of the night or the weather induces you to stay where you are.

Regarding the bathroom, we designed the trailer after spending many challenging nights with two young daughters at our favorite rock climbing area in the desert. There is no running water, no power and no toilets, so we decided to build a solution that included all of these in a very compact and towable trailer. Everyone has fallen in love with it and in the process Homegrown Trailers was born.

Grate job. i have a big tear drop and scared to tow it with my buick.. what kind of car is that..
Andy, we tow the prototype with a Volkswagen Tiguan and recommend a tow rating of 2500-3000 lbs minimum for a tow vehicle with this particular trailer.
I just came upon this Popup Teardrop. I love the layout of it & how spacious it is. Everything has a place, even a bathroom! Awesome job.
It’s lovely, the design, the layout, the ease of towing, everything. But the price is more than halfway to a much larger tiny house that while maybe not as versatile, would provide me with more value for the money spent. In common with all the teardrops I have seen, pricing is on the premium side.
Very good. Yes, bathrooms are a must when you are at a retired age, not fun running around with a flashlight looking for a tree that nobody has used or finding poison ivy lol.
Just curious, why is it called Pop Up Tear Drop? Are you referring to the fact that one can stand up inside? Either way, fabulous design! Beautiful!!!
