The Tiny House Coloring (And Activity!) Book by Dana Reinert

This is to announce the creation of the first tiny house coloring book by Dana Reinert who is a fellow tiny house fanatic and reader of our Tiny House Talk and our free Tiny House Newsletter. Her book is called The Tiny House Coloring (and Activity!) Book.

Dana is creating the tiny house coloring book for herself, her friends, and her family, but she’s started a Kickstarter campaign to see if the rest of the world might also be interested in it. Pretty cool, right? So that’s why I’m letting you know about it right now!

The world’s first Tiny House Coloring Book will soon be available if enough of us are interested in it. I think it’s a wonderful idea, how about you? If you’d like to reserve your own coloring book you can head over to Dana’s Kickstarter page to pre-order one. And if enough of us put our orders in, she will create and deliver them to us! If not, you won’t be charged anything because that’s how Kickstarter works. 🙂

Are you a tiny house enthusiast, aspiring home owner, builder, or just interested in coloring? Then The Tiny House Coloring (and Activity!) Book, is for you, your loved one, even your mom, dad, homesteading neighbor, and that guy down the street who lives in his van! (shout out: #vanlife!)

This Kickstarter is to raise funds and gauge interest on the size of a printing run of The Tiny House Coloring and activity books! Each giver above $15 will receive their very own copy!

Whats in it, you ask? Besides all of the media articles that show coloring builds calmer, more stress-free lives, this book also includes lots of activities for the aspiring tiny-home-builder. From vans, houses, canned hams and shipping container homes, to gardening tips and your very own tiny house dreaming and planning pages, our coloring book will keep you busy for the rainy days, while helping you reduce your housing footprint.

Or, you know, just for fun.

Give whatever you’d like, and remember, everything over $15 gets a coloring book!

If we hit our funding goal, I’ll add more to our printing run, so everyone gets to join in on the fun.

Our first run goal will ship by December 25th!

Risks and challenges

If we get pledges for more than 1,500 coloring books, there will be a slight delay in the printing. I’ve allotted two weeks before Christmas (December 25th) for shipping time, but I cannot guarantee USPS/UPS shipping times.

If we blow way past our first run goal, I’ll set up an Etsy and or Amazon fulfillment to help with shipping large quantities!

Great idea! Maybe (?) this will help my grandchildren (and children and children in laws?) get used to the idea that Baba lives in a tiny little house.

This is a great idea but what are the illustrations like? If they are as pictured in this presentation, sorry but I think they are too crude.
They would be difficult to colour.
