Add a couple of solar light tubes to brighten up the interior and I’m set. I like the large covered porch.

    Nice. Location, location…..

Yes! I’m actually originally from the area and I know it’s pricey, but that’s a steal on Cape Cod! I was floored :) — Tiny House Talk Team

    Not Bad….!

    Amen to the location!

For about seven months a year, it can’t be beat. Quarter in Florida for the winter.

But the taxes in Mass are frightful! Bring lots of money!

The entire area is a hash of tiny/small houses! Especially in the 300-500 sq ft range. Very pleasant neighborhood to googlemap. For this one, the $112K price is very good. However, most of these cottages, *including this one,* are actually condos on someone else’s land, and there is an HOA fee to cover utilities.

Yes the price astonished me! But it’s good to know you don’t necessarily own the land. — Tiny House Talk Team

I called my sister who lives on the Cape. She says it’s been on Craigslist forever and is not really for sale. She says deals like this are posted so they can get names of potential buyers. Too bad.

If they aren’t trying to sell it, then why are they getting names of “potential buyers?” And this house has been listed for sale on Zillow for over a year, with an MLS number and an agent. So yes it’s for sale, unless the owners are just trying to get double the price. Which is not very nice of the owners.

Oxide, since you checked Zillow, no doubt you noticed that the house has been listed and then removed several times this year. Most buyers would see this as a red flag. The HOA fee (cost not listed) “includes lease of land, cable/wifi, taxes, electricity, street light/electricity infrastructure, water, preliminary estimate for wastewater project, and security.” I’m guessing it’s rather expensive. Some agents use properties like this as a “hook” to bring in clients.

Forgot to add: to those who think this place is expensive, it’s a really cheap price. Cape Cod is never this cheap.
