    Gilligan!

Seriously, I’d give a lot to have something like this as my home… Probably the first one I’ve ever seen that I would even give up internet for. Simply beautiful.

If only you could create a flat pack kit, that could be marketed as paradise anywhere…! Ya know a do it your self kit with all the materials necessary to build your own little back yard paradise any where on the planet that is found on a couple of flat packed pallets that is delivered to the location where you want to build your little bamboo shack, and you put it together with the included instruction booklet and accompanying DVD that shows you the step by step directions on how to put it all together … ! It would be great.. You could call it The little Paradise shack from Bali ..! Lmao…! Now all joking aside…! Beautiful tiny house though, and I would be proud to call it my own if it were…

I love it, all the openness but I think I would be a bit concerned about snakes. It is beautiful though.

Very creative and excellent use of natural materials. The bathroom is awesome and I love the outdoor shower with the plantings. The whole thing is gracious and inviting. Love all the cascading water. Great place for a retreat or to retire.

We can learn a lot about tiny living from SE-Asia. Many of their big families re living in tiny homes.
Bamboo is a wonderful building material, its not a tree its grass and grows within five years. As strong as steel its also called the natural steel.
However, it isn’t so easy to connect. You need binding which they do in most cases or steel fabricated ones which I have seen in Brazil.
The common palm leave roofs are state of the art. Their insulation is gorgeous. the only downside is life span. To avoid damages by birds they are covering it now with nets. Labor costs are low so it doesn’t cost a fortune to replace it.
You can’t be surrounded by more environmental friendly material.

    Serene and stunning!

Their website has construction photographs, start to finish and in the ‘About’ section, they tell their fabulous story!

They think of themselves as “Architects without education and builders without hesitation”. A great rule to live by!!!

Explore nature? Meet people? Go shopping for things you “really need.”

Mankind has lived for many thousands of years without the infamous goggle box. Maybe you ought to try it yourself.

I find it amazing how people take materials from nature and turn them into shelters for living; a lot of ingenuity in the construction of this cabin in my opinion.

What kind of maintenance is required for the bamboo?
