The home was built for a military family so they could take their house with them as they move. Even if purple isn’t your go-to color, you have to appreciate the lovely 10 x 10 master bedroom with large closets and a substantial desk. Other rooms include a spacious living area, kitchen with large appliances, and a loft bedroom (with a code-complaint railing).

10′ wide makes so much better use of space and hardly more problem to move with just a cheap wide load permit.
Since these will rarely be moved the huge improvement in living is well worth it vs 8′ wide that are hard not to be cramped, limited.

Yes I really like the 10′ design if you plan on only moving occasionally (once or twice a year).

The lower level of this home is very comfortable and roomy with it being 10 feet wide. Love the size of the bathroom. The stairs in front of the refrigerator is an accident waiting to happen. The loft is awkward and ceiling too low for a mattress. With a few adjustments this would be an amazing home.

It’s got a great deal of potential, that is for sure. What is the total sf, please? I realize these are all individualized, but there seem to be some oddities and missed opportunities for storage/space optimization. The difference in ceiling height necessitated some steep ducking while coming down the stairs. A little alarming. Nice railing, though. Lights or electricity up in the loft? Any built in storage on that blank bathroom wall? Is there room for a dining table of any sort or where will they eat? That under stair space seems like a brilliant opportunity for slide outs, drawer storage or hanging things. But, it’s all tongue and groove, so that’s good. Oh, and the chin-up bar.

Sorry I didn’t get any of those details — all I have is what the video said 🙁

There are several items that were not complete when I took the pictures. There is lights and outlets in the loft where their young child will stay. I am sure there will be clothes hung under the stairs. The butcher block will be replaced with stainless steel. There will be cushions custom sewn the couch and a there will be a table that will fit in when there is dinner time. The bathroom did not have all the storage put in. Please know what is missing in your eyes we have taken this into consideration and the family we are building for as well. Pictures only show a shell before the family finishes their dream home. I can’t wait to see the finished pictures the family took. It isn’t about delivering a staged home, it’s about providing a structurally sound home to live in which is safe on and off the road. Thank you for your comments! Cheryl

It’s for a military family who has to move a lot, so in their case, no.

I wanted to share with everyone this THOW is safe at highway speeds because of our patent pending trailer design and attachment. We balanced the load on the trailer for the best and safest towing for the highway. There are so many details that many will miss in our homes such as meeting current IRC Electrical codes and more. Please feel free to e-mail me with any questions you may have! We believe one size does not fit all! Thank you, Cheryl

It’s not a mirror 🙂 It leads to either the bathroom or some other room.

Definitely a monster. But I like to see everyone’s designs so when I get into mine it will have all the things I love & need in it. But I wish people would also discuss the types of trucks they are using. As they are every bit as important to our tiny lifestyle as the house itself.

That’s true! The right truck is key.

Maybe it’s just me, but I really wish this company did their videos without having someone in front of the camera. They have fantastic designs, but it’s so distracting having that lady in the videos. When you’re watching video after video, trying to find a layout that u like, or other details of tiny homes, all u care to see is the home itself. It’s not at all necessary to have someone actually IN the video commentating. And with all due respect, I’m not sure why this lady always sounds like she’s reading lines, and it’s not in an “experienced actor” sort of way. 😬 I’m sure she’s a lovely person, so I mean no disrespect. I just cannot watch anymore of this company’s videos, unless they started doing them by filming JUST the tiny home and commentate while they’re filming it (preferably the builder). It would make the videos a little more professional. I don’t mean for this to sound like I’m being mean, so I hope it’s not taken that way. I truly love the work this company does! When I finally decide on a layout, I might even go through them when I’m ready to order it. I just hope they change the way they video their homes so I can see more of their design ideas.
