The Jefferson Tiny House by Liberty Cabins

This is the Jefferson Tiny House on Wheels designed and built by Liberty Cabins in Crescent City, Northern California. The main floor offers about 176 sq. ft. of space with an additional 123 sq. ft. of sleeping loft space upstairs.

It’s an 8′ x 25′ design with a cost of approximately $44,000. This model comes with pine walls and bamboo flooring and the entire structure is secured to a custom-made heavy-duty double axle utility trailer.

Once you go inside I think you’ll be equally impressed! There’s a sufficient living area, kitchen, bathroom, and a staircase that takes you to the rather spacious upstairs sleeping loft with dormers. Please enjoy, learn more, and re-share below. Thank you!

I’ve always wanted to be able to dive from my front door into a pool. Now that would be super cool! Nice home!

Nearly perfect. And thank’s for showing one with actual furniture and not just built-in benches.

Thanks Marcy! We wanted to furnish it to give customers a better understanding of the size of the cabin.

one of the best loft bedroom designs. the stairway looks safe. The ranges designed for ships are the most space efficient. a range designed for houses may be less expensive to purchase but squanders precious kitchen space. a nice layout and features for an 8 x 25 home. I could live there even with a bad back and shakey knees. congratulations to the builders

No matter how small/tiny we go, I would want a full size cooker, as I love to cook, bake bread etc, and also we to have friends and family (we have 4 grown up children) over. I do like this tiny house – you need to like wood to live in it, though!

This is a really nicely done house, and for the size and quality of workmanship, the price is pretty reasonable. I like the layout of the closet and the stairs. I really like the stairs! Nice job!

Thanks Marsha! We take pride in building these cabins and put in so much detail. We are glad to see people appreciate what we do!

The woodworking craftsmanship is great. I love the huge loft, the storage space upstairs is a plus, the custom railing brings focus to the sleeping area, wonderful job on the stairs too. Your kitchen layout has lots of storage. All I would need is some sort of built in table to eat off of and work at. Great job guys!

Thank you John! We appreciate all the compliments and we have been working on ideas of putting a fold up table in the cabin.

The tiny house pictured here is different than the picture posted on Facebook that links to it. Both are very nice, but they are definitely two different houses. Would love to see the other one as well 🙂

I really like this place. I appreciate the stairs. I would like to add a stackable washer and drier and give up a little closet space.

    • August 13, 2015, 3:33 pm

Hi David, thanks for the compliments. We do offer a washer/dryer combo inside the large closet space, we will be posting up pictures soon.

Is the pretty lady in the loft included? If so, where do I sign?

This is the first tiny home that I have liked everything about. Except for that door. Really needs a wood door, and probably a window in it.

I love this house!!! A decent sized kitchen, storage for clothes, etc ( here you need space for winter and summer clothing) and a real living space with furniture. Only thing I would change would be to separate kitchen from bathroom, though I’m not sure how it could be done

Love the house except for four things that need to be changed.
    1) make it 5 ft longer
    2) rv low flush toilet
    3) remove the pantry closet
    4) railing for stairs

How deep in the triangle in the loft? What is the measurement of the triangle?
