This is the eco-friendly Ark Shelter “Shelter S” that’s a fully-customizable home. The company that creates them is headquarted in Belgium.

The Shetler S is about 9.5 by 30 ft., but they do offer other smaller models if you’re interested. Fully furnished, the home you’ll see below costs 55,000 EUR (or around $48,000 USD).

    Now this house is unique for sure…! And unlike the houses we have seen here with the garage door hanging from it’s rafters, they have chosen to use bi-folding doors which are built to sustain the owner in cooler months, than the ones with garage doors that will not keep in the warmth during some winter months where the temperatures may dip a we bit low…!
    A smart builder…!

    Nice though I’d set it up inside differently. Note how thick the walls are. In such it is better to go 10′ wide at least gives far more options than 8′ does.
    And up to 12′ wide moving is easy, cheap either doing it yourself or hiring a tow truck the few times it’ll actually be moved, limiting it to 8′ wide is a shame.

    yes 10′ would be nice if you need it, on the other hand absolutely no need to go this thick with insulation in a space this small in any climate !!!!
    Simply overdone.
    But I do like the style very much!

      They weren’t referring to wall thickness (inches) – they meant 10 feet wide in plan (or even 12 foot) would be less limiting 😉
