I love how bright and beautiful this is! Blue couch!

Bedroom loft has plenty of headroom and light.

Look at all the room in the bathroom. Love that sink.

Cute little setting. Is that the Beach THOW next to it?

Tiny patio for enjoying cooler evenings.

Never mind vacation, I would live in this one year round for sure…! I would love to see more like this in Florida for sale…

I was just wondering if any one else was thinking that it sure would be nice to have all of the rental and airbnb tiny homes listed together in their own subcategory….. that way we could see which are for sale, which are for rent quicker.
    What do you think?

Hi Katie — Often (although not always!) I will write “vacation” or “for rent” if it’s a rental property and “for sale” if it’s for sale right in the headline/name of the story. If it’s just a house to look at, or a model from a builder that’s not for sale, I won’t write either. I will try to keep doing this consistently to help you “weed out” the ones you are most interested in 🙂

This is a really nice place but I’d prefer safety rails around the loft. I would be worried about rolling out and crashing down in some of these places. Wouldn’t it be a work place and safety issue?

I had the same concern, the edge of the bed is right at the edge of the loft. Also, pics of the stairs leading up to the loft would be nice. Other than that, it’s really nice inside.

Rails are a great idea! Not sure why the rental lacks them, but you can always ask your builder to include them 🙂 They shouldn’t argue!

Rail wouldn’t work because of the stairs… and it would make it very hard to get out of bed as they would block your ability to just swing your legs around to the stairs and get out of bed… Along with making it feel like a cage and never mind issues that would cause with being able to make the beds or replace the mattress…

Though a raise-able or low-able gate could work… Something you can just push out of the way when you’re getting up and still access the stairs rather than a permanent barrier…

While it’s not like there’s a 7 foot drop to the hard floors below with the staircase in the way and it has a landing halfway down…

Otherwise you’d need a complete redesign of the loft and possibly a significant portion of the whole house to still have everything fit…

It does look very nice. Rails would be a good idea. Also, there is a site for rentals and sales. tinyhouselistings.com Thanks.

I have seen a good net/rope type rail. you can just hook it and unhook it.
Like 2 big clasps on one end. It sounds funny, but it looked ok in the pics.
Kind of like seat belt bands. Just not weaved too close.
