    This is beautiful except for the kitchen. It doesn’t match anything else in the house.

    That is NOT an “A” frame.
    An A-frame’s roof goes (nearly) all the way to the ground.
    In the 70’s, I designed and built, with my brothers, a modified A-frame in the Sugarloaf community. It was a fun time…
