Actually it’s very nice, just needs a window in the loft for air circulation , natural light and emergency escapes as well. Also i don’t remember seeing any closets either…

Very high standard of work, congratulations to the students and teachers.
So nice to see students learning useful life skills. a really solid peice of engineering.
Visually I especially liked the grant kitchen worktop and the wood panelled walls.
My suggestions for the next build: bigger sleeping loft with window and staircase, smaller fridge (small oven instead ) built -in storage in bathroom. Some solar cells or similar.
Good Luck with the auction and keep up the good work.

I like the build. It’s simple yet elegant looking.

I would like to see more attention paid to what the standard certifications means. There’s currently a lot of pressure on building to “code”. I think it needs to be very clear what codes exist or should be applied to the construction of tiny homes and it has to be a simpler one than the myriad of national, State and other local codes that exist in Canada and the USA for regular homes, RVs and tiny homes, whether on wheels or not.

Hi Fred, You can read more about NOAH certification and what it means here: http://noahcertified.org/ Unfortunately, it doesn’t make your tiny house any more “legal” in the sense that it could be parked anywhere, but it does give peace of mind that the home was well-built for your safety.
