some nice touches, but the living area looks like it came out of an RV – not a home.
Some of these tiny home builders have raised the game to a new high – and for the money this one is missing the mark.

“Game” is a good word for the tiny house movement. It seems to vacillate between “how low can you go” and “how luxe can you go.”

This build is from the show Tiny Luxury. The customer wanted a space that could seat a lot of people for eating and also turn into a bed for guests. I agree it looks RV and I dont like that kind of dining seating, but really what other idea could fit that kind of that need? There is a reason that layout is used so often.

I love the stairs with storage, the kitchen and he bathroom. I presume there is a toilet somewhere? I would prefer a good quality sofa bed in the living area and would add a folding table somewhere for meal times. Otherwise it’s lovely!
I have to admit that as a Brit who drives a small car and has never towed anything, I realise a THOW would have to stay put!

I like the open floor plan of this one, and the loft with its many windows is to die for! However, I do spy a safety flaw and that is the lack of a handrail to hold on to while ascending/descending the staircase, which should be a consideration particularly for older/disabled individuals. Other than that, it is stunning and well laid out.

The thow this group builds are pretty and they seem to use good quality materials, the downer are the prices, houses are extremely expensive,, many of them over $100,000

I like the breakfast nook configuration great move. We are building a tiny guest house that will have a nature view. We wanted the room you spend the most time in to be the biggest and the most beautiful no lofts the living has a murphy bed.
We bought a built shell , the it was on triple axle trailer so the walls and roof door insulation and ,window were there it is 12×25 we got it for 20,000. Our friend employee delivered it for 500. this cost was for a small problem they had along the way . Costs bigger window 7×6 two of them were a deal for 400.00 and fancy French vintage crystal chandelier 250.
. For real cedar siding and house wrap 2200. I want a solar generator Our best friend is contractor his work free but his employees so far 3000 if it wasn’t for our friend I know it would be tons more . for the siding, wiring and plumbing kitchen appliance and bathroom will be 7000 it all adds up fast
I had to live in one it would have to be at least 12×36 for a really nice size closet and a place to store linen and things. a real breakfast nook , and big garage for my workout equipment and camping hiking stuff. If these houses cost a 100.000 you would
better off buying a small house in the suburb sounder investment in terms of returns

I really like this one…for me personally I would get rid of some kitchen in order to have more living space…

As someone who currently lives in the south I can assure you that southern does not equate to cottage. Despite the title I like the interior design of the house 🙂

One of the best I’ve seen, for sure. LOVE the loft area – probably the only one I’ve seen to date that makes me think I could actually sleep in one of those. I believe I saw this build on Tiny House Luxury. The table pops down to become part of a spare bed. the place looks comfortable and very livable, with decent storage (though, really, do ANY of these THOW’s have “decent” storage?), w/d, full sized kitchen applicances and It looks like a tub/shower. Very nice all around. Not my style, necessarily, but close.

Very charming, I dont think the pictures really show the walk in closet next to the bathroom! That, the tub and the 7 window loft are the stars of this house.

Loooove the kitchen! The entire home is truly beautiful. I like a table with a sofa all around it for whatever reason. The “funnest ” part of vacation for my children and I was sliding into a round booth at a restaurant where we could face each other and talk and laugh. There is something very nastalgic about that seating arrangement, and of course, practical when you need a bed. Everything about this house is homey and warm and inviting.

#1-agree that there should be a rail on the wall for the stairs up to the loft. #2-I would put cupboards on the walls instead of so much open shelving
#3-I don’t see a price mentioned in the article
I do like it very much with the exceptions listed above but I fear it is expensive.

There are some changes I would make to this home. I love the bathroom. I know they can customize this house. Great job!
