I always liked converted shipping containers into cabins or tiny houses as a rock solid and affordable alternative for tiny houses. This one isn’t an exception, it shows what can be done. With increasing price tags for tiny houses you still get more for less. Shipping containers are the utmost resitiant shell when it comes to natural disasters you can get.

I love all your tiny houses and cabins. I would love to own one. And the shipping containers is a great idea. Are they by any chance the same prices or do all combined vary in cost.? Im hopeful one day ill make a tiny home mine.

I’ve always loved the concept of container homes. The possibilities seem endless. Ever time I see one, it becomes my favorite, until the next one! And, they always have a main floor bedroom. I’d be in the market for two, L-shaped, providing a front yard scape, garden, outdoor living, area…

Ever since I saw the first s. container home, I fell in love with them and in 2010, found myself able to buy my first home, unfortunately, my husband and I decided to buy a regular home inWinter Park, Fl because it felt right at the time, and although we don’t regret our purchase, it’s an amazing place to live, we still felt and feel that we should’ve gone with a s. container, which would’ve saved us a bunch of money. Now, after establishing ourselves in our neighborhood, it does seem silly to move, but if we did, I think we’d buy a few and make it into an xtra wide, two floor amazing custom home, but first, we’d have to secure a great piece of land somewhere as nice as where we live now, and with the price of land going up, well, our dream seems to be getting away from us…That’s a lovely home right there.

Love that roof deck, really adds a lot to the functionality. The only thing I’d add would be some covered space at ground level just outside the door using some kind of clear or translucent roofing. Maybe have double French doors instead of sliders. The kitchen has more counter space and light than my little apartment galley. Nice.
