Rustic indeed! I looked around for Dan’l Boone. 🙂 The land is beautiful.

Needs a lot of repairs and modernization. No insulation. Probably gets really nasty cold inside.

  • Mindy July 30, 2017, 7:30 pm

Lots of work! But with the right personpersons this little cabin in the woods could be a true Jewel.

This looks more like a tear-down! Way too much work needs to be done. And is that black mold growing on the logs inside?

    • Eric August 7, 2017, 5:33 am

Nah, not mould, that’s them there thing called bark and grain. Prob’ly different kinds of tree used in the construction.

I wonder what the taxes are on this place? If I were so inclined, I buy this place and put up a THOW community. These buildings could have ping-pong tables and a set-up for group dining events, or group movies on the week-ends. For this kind of money, one could buy 3 brand new THOWs, but this purchase really isn’t about the “improvements”, it’s about the land; which I must admit is very nice. Doesn’t mention a town anywhere near, so winter and supplies would have to be planned events.

No playing on the inside.. I think that if u missed the pin-pong ball and it hit the wall it might take it out

This may have potential for those willing to put in some good elbow grease *pending* a professional mould test. A strong admonition to anyone suffering with ME/CFS or thyroid disorders. If clear, and a good cleaning is done, this could be a lovely place.
