One chair, one lantern, one towel, two pillows, and a handful of potted plants. Hmm. A little more minimal than I can imagine myself being. But I love the lightness, the openness, and the sense of freedom this gives. The view is meh, but that’s the beauty of having a wheelie-house, eh?

A happy space, but not sure I could manage it long term. Lovely design though, kudos to Wombpioniers – sorry, Woonpioniers! I’m reminded how important big windows are to the psyche, especially in small rooms.

Love the clean lines and big window!

Love the concept of minimalism, the large windows and openness of it all. but for me it’s just a little too stark and sterile feel about it.. that could be a little depressing..

It’s a great base to start with, easy enough to make it your own to be as minimalist or not as you wish. The bare bones are there, just needs some fleshing out.

A refreshing modern design which shows what can be done to open up a small space. I think its a good base to start with and complete it with own taste.

Love it! VERY interesting roof lines. I like the big window in back that covers both loft and lower levels. Creative. To me these stark interiors are like a breath of calming fresh air.

I’m not sure why everybody gets so hung up on living long term in a tiny house. I’m planning on building one eventually but it will only be used for weekends at the lake and occasional week long trips.

I find most of this TH to be absolutely stunning and really appreciate that this house is more concerned about connecting you with the outdoors than being inward facing like most are.

    Kudos!

Lovely THW! And some interesting comments. So they have presented this in a very minimalist way but there is plenty of room for more, colour and towels. I could easily live in this but would not have a loft bed rather I would put a fold down bed up the same end as the couch area. Love the big windows.

Lovely design, but again the names given to the tiny houses are so misleading. Porta Palace? This is a great tiny house, but how is it a palace?
Guess you made your point because I clicked on it, but not what I was expecting.

Warning! Class clown attack! When I saw this house’s name in the subject line of the email, my mind focused on “Porta”. I’ll let you guess how I filled in the blank at first…maybe I’ve had too much eggnog…

As others have already said, it’s a great-looking home, but a tad too minimalist for me. But I do have friends who’d love it.

I like the design and the aesthetics but the stairs and sleeping loft are lethal, even for a young person. Safe stairs seem to be one of the last considerations in so many tiny homes.

I see some plants, a cup, a towel, sheets on the bed, & 2 couch pillows, boy I guess its minimal. Very cool roof line & beautiful windows. Needs a little something to make it more homey.

Well, this unit is stunning, sleek, smooth, functional – except for the loft bed. Some day somebody’s going to need to NOT climb in order to lay down; you’re old, you’re recovering from surgery, you’re wasted, whatever. Bed on first floor. It would be nice if some ballpark pricing is mentioned with all these. ALSO – great design, “shitty” name, like porta-potty.

Just a tiny note…the Bedroom window opens IN, and I could see that in an emergency it would make easier egress if it opened OUT. The general layout and of course the windows are great.

I believe it is very good. A home is your Palace. With a bottom cushion of quilted fabric covering, a wall tapestry .And colorful dishes to show. It could be beside the ocean or in a great forest. A coat of arms for the family tree .In a rainbow of color or just tri-metals. Your trusted pet, and a hanging tomato plant or medicinal herbs. I would love it. I would roll it to a place of somewhere I have not been. For a while. Make it off grid. Enjoy.

Love the simplicity, however, too much beige can start looking a little institutional to me.

It does have Functionality, I suppose. If I took away my art works and books, I could very well be considered minimalist. Alas, that is not to be, nor is this a place for me. My first thought was that I’d be rolling off of the bed within a week. Not a cool design for a restless sleeper, lol. And the ability to have views, well, yes, that can be nice. Though I do wonder on the extreme emphasis to the point where you have little to no privacy. It’s almost as if we’re trying to buy or make tiny houses as long as we trick out brains into thinking we’re not in a tiny space. All told, this is geared for the vacationer; it’s a house, but probably not a home.
