Phoenix Strawbale Workshop March 3-5

This is an announcement for a Strawbale Workshop by Athena and Bill Steen of the Canelo Project. If you don’t know anything about “strawbale” homes, check out this resource for tons of info on this awesome, sustainable form of building.

My husband and I are holding a strawbale workshop March 3-5 in downtown Phoenix. We will be building our 2nd strawbale house and would like to share the information. We will have instructors from the caneloproject.com, Athena and Bill Steen presenting this workshop for 3 days. They will teach all aspects of the building of this tiny 600 sq ft house and will cover a little about the adobe plaster over it. They have written several books and travel all over the world teaching this sustainable alternative home. The cost is $250 for 3 days of instructions, catered meals and any needed supplies. You will love it and at the end of the 3 days, the house will be erected up to the top plate, ready for trusses. Please join us. Call Susan at 602 561-9621 for more info and visit their website to see their work.
