Shower in Paradise in this Tiny House on Wheels

One of the latest owners of tiny house on a trailer seems like they purchased it to fix it up and resell it.

They updated the trailer by upgrading the axles, tongue, brakes, springs, some of the framing, and even replaced the tires. This was back in 2010.

Since then they listed it over at Tiny House Listings and put it up for sale for $45,000. It’s no longer available and I’m actually not sure if it actually sold at that price.

This 144-square-foot house on wheels actually has two decks. One by the entrance and the other one for your utilities like propane tanks and such. There are also two lofts in the home, one for you to sleep in and the other for storage.

Now that shower that you’re wondering about- which you’ll see in the photos below- is a beach mural covered in plexiglass. I thought that was a unique way to give the house a vacation-like touch.

The interior dimensions are 8′ x 18′ and it’s wired for both 12V and 120V so there’s enough flexibility there to add your own solar panels or just plug in like an RV if you wanted to. Plus it’s all set up with propane.

The skylight that you see below is functional so it actually opens if you wanted to allow the breeze to come through your little house. I’d personally love this feature.

In addition to that, the home is fully plumbed so you can hook it up to a sewer or add tanks to make it more like an RV. The toilet installed is a SunMar composting toilet and the refrigerator is great because it can either run off of the electric or propane.

This tiny home also has a three burner propane stove with oven, hood fan, tankless water heater, and the famous Dickenson boat heater that Jay Shafer loves to use in his luxurious tiny house plans.

Countertops in the kitchen are made out of a recycled paper material called Paperstone and the flooring is bamboo. In the kitchen I’d love to add/install one of these built in hardwood cutting boards for functionality. I think it’s great if you enjoy cooking like I do. This is an inspiring build, don’t you think?

I really like the detail of wrapping the roof shingles over the gable fascia. Combined with the wall shingles, it gives the house a very “cottage” appearance.

This really gives me some great ideas on design, when I’m ready to build my own tiny house. I Love the shower as well. Although I’ve never seen a refrigerator that size in a tiny house on wheels, It’s great to see the possibilities.

I like the fact that there’s a decent size couch in l.room; either for guest to sleep, or if you couldn’t use the loft. Very nice!!

This is now my tiny house:) I love the kitchen build and it goes down the road very nicely. Now if I can only come up with a way to love that beach scene in the shower. I’m thinking of frosting the plexiglass to minimize the literalness of the scene. Anybody got any ideas?
