What an interesting idea, and sure to appeal to a variety of people. I used to own and run a B&B, so this sounds like a cool variation.

The ProTeas bunk bed ROCKS! It’s cool thank you for the idea. One never knows. I’m so blessed to be able to research all this stuff out “before” I start a build. Thanks so much for sharing with me everyone.
I still have a few years I must wait however, my first idea after buying a piece of land will be the container to hold the things I want in my THOW while I build it or have it built. 🙂 Of course, hubby is still leaning toward the 5th wheel. Still, a girl can dream. hehehe God bless and happy trails!

I prefer the land option, also. Just be sure the area where you plan to live allows tiny homes, especially if it is to be built on a foundation. Many areas do not allow residences with such a tiny footprint at all. One of the smallest allowances I have heard of is 700 square feet, and many are significantly more than that. Tiny home communities are becoming more common, and many mobile home communities are an option also, just be sure and do your homework.

I am sold on the tiny house idea. I would like to start a community east of Dallas in the Terrell-Kaufman area. Is there interest for a Dallas community?

How about New England? I love Autumn there. And Winter isn’t too cold, but gets enough snow to build lots of forts. 🙂
