I was so excited to see this video released by Kirsten Dirksen of Faircompanies where she takes you inside the world of Molecule Tiny Homes.

In it you’ll get a complete tour with Jason Dietz (owner/builder) as he shows you an amazingly built (and designed) 136 sq. ft. tiny home.

You’ll also get a glimpse at one of his largest tiny house builds, too…

I love the design, a little to much wood grain, but still nice, …. How do you heat or cool the space. I live in LAS VEGAS, it would have to be air conditioned, and if you live where it is cold, how would you stay warm. I didn’t see anything in the video addressing that, and how would they design for that? … I still love the design.

I agree… got to have heating and cooling. I’m not much on air conditioning. I use a swamp cooler… cheap, cheap, cheap! But I’m thinking a catalytic heater is a good idea. Really, though, what’s the point of buying a tiny house that you can’t set up anywhere because of zoning laws? The best idea I can think of is to set it up as a garden/potting shed in your garden. That should get around the city officials’ dumb rules. Put a potting table in the living room… te-he-he!

Fantastic! I want one (without the refrigerator). I don’t use refrigeration, but I would like to insert a portable washing machine where the refrigerator is.

Give me a “big plastic box” OR a tiny house and I’ll be happy.

I think I love every single thing about this house. The only thing I might change is to go with a shower only and get rid of the tub, which might give me space for a little larger sink. I could make do with that sink, however.
