This is Minimaliste Tiny Homes which is a new tiny house construction company out of the Quebec City area of Canada.
And this is one of their very first tiny house designs which they built. It’s modern, spacious, and it seems to make great use of the available space. It’s a 24′ tiny house model called The Sequoia. So far it’s simply a 3D sketch of plans so I’m sure that you, like me, will be even more excited to see when they build their first tiny home so we can see what it might be like to live in it in person (or at least of course in photos and video). Those rounded walls are wild!! How did you get that done?
the walls are not rounded.they used a fish eyes lens on the camera.i wish they didnt
Lovely. It just needs a few small splashes of color.
I like this, but they really need to show a floor plan and details about the “stash away” features discussed on their web site. Until these features are shown to demonstrate how practical (hopefully) they are, I can’t imagine a serious purchase inquiry with a price tag up to $70,000. Once they can show clever tuck away/ pop out features like the beds and bathroom, this could be an amazing choice for me!
I wish there were more details. The pictures are silly with that lens, but it seems really nice. Would love to see more.
Beautiful – want to see more after it is built. I also love color but it is easy for me to imagine spashes of color in strategic places – and I always imagine my color choices! :>)
I don’t know who their target market is, but if they’re building them for the Quebec market they better be very well insulated with an efficient heating system. I can’t imagine spending a long Quebec winter in one of those. Talk about cabin fever!
It is disappointing to once again see what appears to be a well thought out tiny option only to have important details left out. How do the features work? Composting toilet or RV set-up? Where is the solar? Is this an RV or a tiny that you can live in day in day out year round? Cmon now, folks are getting serious about actually living tiny for real.
It’s nice to have another romantic article about an interesting tiny, but it’s getting old and stale to folks that are really serious about living this extraordinary life. I have been very fortunate to be living tiny now for about 4 years and loving every second of it!
