While visiting Portland, Oregon you can stay in this tranquil micro guest house that’s surrounded by a beautiful garden.

This cozy guest house has a kitchenette with dining area and a relaxing L shaped couch that converts to a full size bed. The bathroom has views of the lush garden outside.

Enjoy dining al fresco in the private patio or napping in the hammock on a lazy afternoon.

I think this is a great design for a micro guest house in the backyard. What do you think of this cozy guest house?

hey! this is great, what a cool place to stay in portland. reminds a bit of a hostel, but private! and the rates are incredibly affordable. the owner speaks of his travels, and has done what he probably liked on his own journeys, clean, safe, central and affordable. wow, if i wasn’t 2500 miles down the road, i would stay there for certain. thx for the pixs and the peeks.

I like it, except for the bed. Converting the couch gets old after the first time, I’ve done that. I’d go for a Murphy type, comig down over the courch, or one lowering from the ceiling. Otherewise, great.

Hmm…smoking allowed, but just on the patio. In Portland! My son lives there with his family! $400 per week or $65 per night. $25 cleaning fee.

I meant good that they only allow smoking on the patio. I don’t smoke and don’t like the smell of smoke on stuff.

Tiny houses are very practical and cool. I live in about 900 sq ft a little more then wha are here. I love ❤ small quarters

Love the layout –it’s an excellent use of space. It seems a bit barren though. A few art pieces or creative use of cloth might give it more personality but I really like it overall.

Really a lovely place to stop for a night or a few nights while exploring Portland. It’s got everything one – or two – might need for a short stay. $65 a night is quite reasonable too. I have to agree with others though that some colorful decor could brighten up this space making it seem more welcoming. All it would take is some colorful melamine plates and cups, kitchen and bath towels, pillows and a throw on the sofa, coordinating but simple curtains, and a suitable piece of local art work on that empty wall over the sofa. I really like the over all look and feel otherwise. Nice job!
