It’s a custom built wooden cabin mounted on a 4WD Mitsubishi L200.

The owner/builder calls it a Demountable Shepherds Hut Motorhome.

And he’s selling it because he’s moving out of the country.

Right now it’s located near Guildford, United Kingdom and is ready for a new owner.

Hmmm, it’s a 12v system but the meter shows 44v3, interesting.

12 volt is the battery. The solar pannels charge in watts. Using converters and inverters is how the batteries are charged.

    That.
    House.
    Is.
    Perfect.
Beautiful work, my dream is to make a home like this for myself!
The only adjustment i would make would be that i would want a small wood burning stove and chimney!
    Very elegant design.
    Very exiting.
    Much love brother.

This is great. I was thinking of something like this yesterday. Was thinking wouldn’t it be cool of some one made something like this. And today I open my email and there it is. LOL!

If you are off “Glamping” in something as posh as this you need a place for a loo! I have seen several “pop up” shelters that fold up flat and tiny and then you place them outside for toilet cover—use the 5 gal bucket with the liners and seat from Wal Mart or camping stores—and also for showers—use solar shower water bags.

Also good for a change room or even for getting things out of the wagon when you get where you are going to free up some space while parked. Lots more privacy than a tarp or canopy and for about $30 USD—

There is no Wal Mart in Australia (Thankfully) and there are plenty of roadside “rest stops” here where you have toilets. I think the cabin is perfect and great for the Australian outback where the roads are often dirt tracks

Well done, hope you have success selling it and then building many more

As someone who’s lived in vehicles and small spaces for 20 years, one of the things I found early on is that you do not need an inside bog. In fact, in such a small space it’s not only a waste of the space you’ve got, but an unnecessary hassle to maintain and clean. Out in the wilds, use a spade, nearer other folk use other facilities.
I would have a wee woodstove though. However, that looks pretty well insulated and looks like it would do a good jib of keeing in the ambient heat from bodies and cooking.

Wow! The kitchen is to die for! And I love the sofa design, too. Really neat tiny house!

Wonderful use of space. I like the cozy kitchen and the seating alongside the wall with the bed on a higher level. If needed, you could slide a composting toilet into a cabinet or under a bench.
