This is a clever transforming bar desk designed by Jon-A-Tron.

It’s great for small spaces like tiny homes, cabins, and studios.

But it can also be a useful piece of multi-functional furniture in a place like an art studio, right?

When it’s time to work you can use it as a desk. And when it’s time to host an event you can easily transform it into a bar! Pretty clever, isn’t it?

Please enjoy, learn more, and re-share below. Thank you!

excellent engineering and design. I do not drink, do not need a bar for booze. this design could work well as a work desk and then become a surface to serve a meal

My same thought, kristina. The area holding the liquor bottles could have eating utensils & such. Not too much floor space for two distinct functions.

Genius! I also would use the bar part for meals. This is perfect for a small space.

Amazing….:) but if he wants to market this he should change his name to be taken more seriously. 🙂

Okay. . . That is sooooo cool! I don’t drink alcohol, but I can think of a dozen other uses for such a clever table. Cudos, man! Cudos!

Somebody commented in the facebook section that it would make a good sewing area. Absolutely! One of the problems with small sewing areas is having a decent cutting table and this would solve that neatly. You could probably also make a drafting table version that could be set at different angles, or adapt it for painting. Very clever!

Also makes a good standing desk, easy to switch back and forth with a laptop.
