I personally know this man. He is a TRUE artist in all he does. I have seen this beautiful house par excellence.

Outstanding! A lot of thought went into the design and crafting of this THOW. And it’s paid off! Love everything about it.

Beautiful craftsmanship, Aaron. It’s the first time I’ve seen a bench chair that looks comfortable, with a place for current reading no less, and the first all-wood interior that didn’t make me feel claustrophobic. Oh, and a place to put your phone and mail while hanging up your coat! I love it. I’d even be willing to try the stairs with such a sturdy (and artistic) rail. (I’m an older gal so interior mountain-climbing can be daunting.) ) How long did it take you to make this beauty? The cost, as always, would be good to know. And where do you currently park it? Again, excellent job.

I agree-homey feel, open, and practical. I want to put a lot of these features into a home of my own. Hopefully, more communities allow these homes-on wheels and without. The idea of making that investment, only to have zoning boards not allow me to move to areas that work for me-that is a major fear. There have been cases here in Michigan in which some lost court cases and several thousand dollars. Some might be more open to rebellion, but I just can’t handle it.

Thank for your kind words, it took about 14 months and about 25k. Right now it is parked where I built it in Borrego Springs CA. We intend to use as an RV.

How do I learn more about this amazing design? The link resolves to a completely different design.

Really well done. Reads more like 400 square feet. And comfortable.

really pretty and very functional! Can’t do the loft, but that’s my problem!

The workmanship is wonderful. I just wonder if a heater this size would be adequate and are the floors ever warm with it being so high?. Is this a company that built it? If not, this has been one of the best in workmanship I have seen. I really could live here.

Very nice woodworking. And the outside looks like it has been treated, which would make it the first I can recall seeing that was.

However, yet another loft, this time with goofy steps. To me, both detract from the whole.

Rather than a covered porch, I would have done a fold up porch, and fold down porch roof. Could have been overall slightly shorter, or add that space to the length.

lovely finish and detail, this is lacking in many TH. would prefer to see hardwood on the benchtops. Anyone have any thoughts on why the heater has the timber surround?

    Dear Aaron,

That is an amazing home! The woodwork is amazing.

What kind of a heater is that? I have a small she-shed that I need to heat safely.

The heater is a Dickinson Marine Heater. Just google it and you’ll see all of the listings for this type of heater. It comes in propane or wood burning, or combo model.

Well done. Great Job. This is what a tiny house should look like. But I would change only a few things for my comfort. RV flush toilet, mini split a/c and heat unit. A couch, and a different staircase.

Oh! one more thing. Remove the big window from in back of sink and put mirror. Put big window where small window is in the bathroom. Then this would be perfect for my comfort. Hope you build more of these.

This house is just about perfect in it’s beauty and craftsmanship. The only thing I would change is installing a real flush toilet. I particularly like the leaf trim around all the sills – lovely touch!

Hi Aaron, Love your tiny house!! Just love the craftsman style and you did a wonderful job building it!! I love both the outside and inside. I just saw one similar to yours same style on HGTV, Monday night. The man was a wildlife photographer from Colorado and he bought the plans and build his. He only had one loft that he used for storage. His was just as nice as yours. I hope you enjoy your place and thank you for sharing!

Nicely done! Love the comfy chair. Does it convert to a twin sleeper? extra bonus if it does. Not a fan of the stairs, but that would be an easy fix. Still looking for the perfect tiny/small house with a 1st floor bed.

This is such a great and “livable” design. I’ve seen a lot of tiny houses. Many don’t contain the necessities. This one “nails it”. The outside doesn’t have the “box” look. I really like that the kitchen has a real stove and ventilation. The couch looks really comfortable and not stiff. The stairs are really great.
