This is a 24 sq. ft. micro day camper guest post by Ray Young. – share yours!
This is my 24 square foot micro day camper. I built it mainly as a kayak support vehicle.
It also serves to transport band equipment as needed. It is just 1/2 inch plywood with my first attempt at a fiberglass coating.
It even contains a small camping toilet. I pull it with my Toyota Yaris.
I attempted to sleep in it once, in the back yard, but it was a bit cramped, especially with my full grown Airedale dog that insisted on sharing the experience.

Not knocking the quality of the labor involved, but, am not exactly certain where this fits into the TH scene.
Looks like a very practical solution. I especially like the fact that it’s light and small enough to be towed by a Yaris — and that it has a toilet! I also love the vibrant interior and the plain exterior, which makes it easy to travel in stealth mode. Kudos!
If it can’t even be slept in comfortably, why even call it a camper?

wow, so your only comment is to criticize. looks like this fits to me. then you have theo, wow; you guys are nothing more than narcist that want to prove your superior instead of actually saying something constructive.
Maybe a rooftop tent sleeper unit can be added to it
Is a “day sailer” not a sail boat because you can not sleep in it??
I have two tiny RV; My first attempt was too big for my truck to pull fast. The scale down is 6’2″ h x 6’6″w x 14’6″l final cut. The 2 is a 5′ x 8′ just a one night. It is a Mil trailer pick up cheap!! It has a cot bed and a grill in it and is pull by my v6 truck. My first one RV is no loft and has a two counter tops at diff heights, I have solar panels for power with a generator back-up, I have rain barrels to catch water from the roof. I had it at 7’4″h x6’6″w x 14’6″l was told it would be top heavy with just one axle! So I cut it down a bit for my F150 to be able to pull it fast. I will give you the break down on what I spent and found for my Tiny Campers when I get done. I have pic to go with it. I am jack of all trade, master of none! No windows in it yet, Just one door. It has two wire systems in it. One solar, the other is 110v. My wall are 2’x4′ on the frame with the center boards are 2’x2′ . Weight is not your friend! My build is what not to do! I do happen to find deals all the time, my 1 trailer was 700 bucks 6’6″x 14’6″, my 2 trailer was 450 bucks 5’x8′. Wood, screws, glue , brats ,fiberglass panels about 600 bucks for both of them. I had no real plans to go by, just what is in my head.
