Locked in a Tiny House for 6 Days

How would you feel about being locked up in a tiny house for 6 days?

I love tiny homes, especially the one you’re about to see here, but I don’t like being locked up anywhere.

But I think you’ll enjoy this little adventure in downtown Seattle.

They had everyday people go on a key hunt in and around the city finding clues so that they can free Joshua from being locked in the little house.

It was a marketing concept for the lock company Schlage. Here’s how it worked.

There were fourteen clues to dig up throughout the city and the winner would receive $5,000 plus get to free Joshua.

Oh well, at least I already know I want to live in a tiny home; I would have loved to have been locked in there. Cool video. Hopefully it interested more Seattlites in tiny houses!

Well, it might be a good way to show off a tiny house but it might also discourage people from the lifestyle if they see these houses as a prison. The whole Idea is to show people how living smaller and simpler frees you from the prison of a mortgage and monthly bills so while I applaud the effort I hope it does not backfire.

he coulda crawled out a window or pulled hinge pins on door if he was truly locked in.

If I had food, the usual utilities, and my dogs could go out and pee, it would be great!! I’d read, watch t.v., Computer, and my cell phone!!
It would be great! I’ll take that assignment anytime, but first I would have to ask, what did Joshua get out of it??

    I love the promotion…
Funny thing, I’m often “locked” in my own apartment, sometimes for days at a time….If possible. I rather enjoy it. Of course if he had no provisions…that’s a different story. I think the whole idea is great, and a fun way to promote tiny homes. (I think that house is bigger than my apartment…lol)
