I know you said it has a bathroom, but are there any pics of it? I’m just curious. I would so live in that loft, in order to be able to live in Paris! You also said 5th floor. Is that an American 5th floor, or a European one? Because in Europe the 5th floor is what we would call the 6th. Imagine climbing all those stairs several times a day!

Does stairs will be a great exercise you don’t have to spend money on a gym

and in paris i don’t think that you will be clinbing all does stairs several times a day

True, Luis, Paris is definitely a workout. Have you been there? I spent 2 weeks in Paris in the summer of 2007, and I never walked so much or climbed so many stairs in my life! (Notre Dame, the Catacombs, the Arc de Triomphe.)

I do think I’d be climbing up or down at least twice a day, and what about lugging groceries?

At any rate, I’d be super fit if I lived there, instead of the couch potato I am now.

    Cheers!

This is a big apartment for Paris! 60m2 this is a really big apartment!

Most of common people live in 100, 150 square feet. 6 floor without elevator, wc on the corridor.
I lived 2 years into one of them.
And this is already jungle to have one!

It’s an Airbnb listing so you can book it. Because Europe is so densely populated may cities have revised their codes to permit use of attics for habitation.

Nicely renovated with great light, but the furniture is too “thrift store Tammy” for me. Makes it look cheap and cluttered. It would not be difficult to find beautiful used furniture in Paris with a lot more character. The owner needs to make a little more effort, especially to entice Airbnb guests. Wants better lamps for nighttime too.

I love this, it looks very cozy. It also looks very secret, like it could have been a hiding place in WWII.

Ahhhhh–to be a starving artiste in a garrett in Paris!

    In THIS garret!!!

Yes the furniture is very “student-y” but you are not BUYING the furniture–if you could FIND a place like this to live you could buy your OWN furniture and decorate it as you like.

I could not do these stairs now but in my younger and wilder years 5th floor walk ups in NYC were nothing special. And the steep and winding steps where I lived in the Armenian Quarter in Jerusalem were—special! Ditto the squat toilets! And climbing Davids Tower–yeah–I DO know it’s off limits–come arrest me! We even climed Masada at midnight and DID get taken into the Police station–something I will never regret.

    But–PARIS!!!!!

IF these old legs would WORK—–

Would “I” stay here? In a word, nup.

To me, it’s bland bordering megafugly.

Wouldn’t that be a crime in Paris?
