I am very interested in purchasing one of these and checking to see if I buy one can you barge it up to Barrow, Alaska??

Very nicely done! Lots of room for all the essentials. I imagine you could save some money by using smaller appliances. As for me, I would only need a little storage loft as I am pretty short and would want a downstairs sleeping area. I love the bathroom.

Kitchen is way, way over the top for something like this…..smaller appliances=more room. 2 or 3 burner cooktop and convection/micro combo…love the dishwasher..a must have for me. Single door frig would be more than adequate. There is not going to be a family of 6 living in something like this…I would hope. Downstairs bedroom is a must for a senior like me. Love the color scheme. But why a built in cage for a dog or cat??? That’s just weird.

Many people crate train their dogs, this built in is a very clever feature for those with pets.

Chuck, people who like to cook tend to like big kitchens to cook in and many of them would still consider this a small kitchen…

Regardless, this is the design the client wanted and thus that’s what the builder built for him…

That’s the thing with custom build homes, they reflect the owner’s personal preferences, style, and their specific requirements… and no two ever need to be the same or even similar as every single house can be unique…

I love it just the way it is! My husband and I are big on cooking, so the kitchen is wonderful! We have Fisher-Paykel appliances (W/D and that lovely dishdrawer–we have 2, one above the other, but could do with just one). They are top notch! I love the big fridge too. So many of these have a tiny bar fridge which would totally be a waste for us. With the exchange rate, this is very tempting!

Just beautiful, but I wouldn’t need a full size refrigerator or oven and certainly not a dishwasher based on our living in a 19 foot camper for many months each time. For us storage is a big concern and need. What is the price of this model and do you deliver…..although a trip to Canada to pick up our home would be lovely.

This is just awesome! Me and my husband are actively looking for a tiny house with this much room. Ee would basically need to combine the extra loft area to make 3 bedrooms instead of two and I love to cook so we definitely need the big kitchen area. We would actually be looking at composting toilet because we would need the capability to live off grid in some areas. This is just what we’ve been looking for. Awesome price also.

Beautiful! Looks very well built. You can tell it was built for a man’s taste. As I watched the video, I was thinking how I would tweak this and that for my female taste. Love the double stairs. I can’t do ladders. I like the idea of a drop down wheel base, but I wonder if the ceiling can be dropped a few more inches to give more height to the lofts.

Emily c., loft height can usually be adjusted… Some people even reverse it and place it low to the floor and even put the bed below instead of above…

It depends on what you will have sharing that vertical space… If it’s a seating area then that doesn’t need as much headroom and you can thus split the difference…

The need for standing headroom space is the only reason there is such a disparity in height spaces… Given it all has to work with the road legal height limit for the whole house from the grade level at the bottom of the wheels to the tip of the roof is only 13′ 6″…

Drop axles and building the subfloor into the trailer chassis instead of over it can save about 9 inches… Though, there’s trade off as lowering the trailer limits your clearance and thus makes it harder to get over bumps and uneven terrain, especially with longer houses with some designs going up to 40 and even to 60 feet in length.

While even with the added space, you’re still limited to just under 11′ total interior headroom and you also have to subtract the loft’s floor thickness as well… But how that space is used is otherwise up to your imagination…

This nice. I would get smaller appliances, and have a downstairs sleeping area. Knees bad.😳

Betty, knees can be a issue for some with lofts but some just put in padded flooring into the loft or carpeting… Or make sure to design the loft so they just slide into bed and don’t need to shimmy over anything… Only the really big lofts really force you to have to move about on any hard surfaces…

But yeah, first floor bedrooms are the nicest options if you can manage it in the layout…

This is the one. It’s perfect. I love to cook, so the kitchen is perfect, with actual storage. Don’t get me wrong, I mostly like the whole open-shelving look, but I don’t need for everyone to see baking tins, pots and pans, etc. They even thoughtfully put in a drop-leaf table so you could have guests over. Design-wise, if someone didn’t want so much in a kitchen, it would be easy to eliminate and broaden the living area. Basically, this is for people to really live in.

After carefully looking this over I am sure that if I could have this house I can definitely make the sacrifice(😆) of going tiny. Extraordinarily beautiful and efficient house

This is a beautiful tiny house, but for those who have expressed an interest in lower level bedroom instead of a loft,I suggest you check out another Canadian company tiny house dubbed Le Sakura….bliss

Great house. I see the usual “tiny house” sofa, but wonder if it wouldn’t block the door less if it were oriented the other way. I love the double staircase. Though it takes up a lot of space, it does open up the kitchen.
Could you make a lucite flip down table coming down from the window on the stairs and make a little eating nook with people sitting on the stairs ?
I’d be tempted to take the living room ceiling height right down to 6.5 feet to increase headroom upstairs. People mostly sitting down there, anyhow. Could use either strong glass for light or perforated metal for the upstairs floor, save more headroom, and less claustrophobic.

Very nice. This and your Chinook 30 have elements that are innovative and beautiful. Would you tell us a bit about what kind of insulation you used?
I see on your website that the price of the Chinook is private. Without breaching any confidentiality, can you tell us the ‘ballpark’ price; say, “Between $___ and $ ____”? If not that is understandable. Thank you.

Very nice but would put a small lip (6″) on the ledge between the lofts and add a small square hole into each loft, there you have the perfect cat home for your pet. The gated area is where you hide the food (cat or dog) to prevent unauthorised feeding. My neighbour’s dog loved being in her cage, until they realised the daughter was storing the dry food in there as well. The privacy screens in the lofts are good, wish more THoWs had them.
