Do you remember when we showed you Kenya’s first tiny house? Well, it’s for sale now! Carefully designed to traverse Kenya’s roads, this tiny home has some great features like two stand-up loft bedrooms and fold-down benches that become additional beds. David has been living in it off and on for three years as he’s traveled between Kenya and France.

Now that he’s moving to France more permanently, he’s looking for someone to purchase his one-of-a-kind creation. Below, he carefully describes the many features he added to the tiny house! He’s asking €40,000 (~$43,000 USD) and you can get in touch with him via email.

After teaching in the Virgin Islands for seven years, Jana was ready to change things up, but not ready to “settle down” in the traditional sense. Instead, she’s redefining her nomadic life in her self-built ambulance as “settling down” — this is her home, and she loves her life! Even if her family thinks she’s crazy for doing it.

Amazingly, Jana only spent $19,000 making her home on wheels a reality. It includes a bathroom, office space, and even a “party bin” under her bed where she keeps several exciting costumes! Her kitchen has a DIY sink (she doesn’t recommend it) and a propane oven salvaged from a vintage RV. Jana is so much fun and her tour is sure to make you smile.

Deyana is a former classroom teacher who now teaches virtually. You might remember her skoolie conversion that we showed you, but now she’s living in her self-converted van with her adorable dog. She used a micro-cement product from Spain called Smartcret to cover many of the surfaces in her rig, and the thin layer looks gorgeous and almost adobe-like.

She included a shower in her conversion, with a self-cleaning Nautilus door and a beautiful pebble floor. She has a fixed bed, a spacious garage, and a comfortable workspace. She chose an induction cooktop and a Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro in her kitchen. What do you like most about her van conversion?

It’s hard to find a tiny house already on land that you can rent or purchase, and this gorgeous double loft tiny house on wheels has a prime location at Acony Bell Tiny Home Community in North Carolina. You can take over the lease for the lot, at $700/month, and enjoy the private location that faces the gorgeous woods. Most homes in the community are lined up, with a nice buffer between them, but this one sits apart against the edge of the village.

You enter the home in the living room, which includes a couch and seating for two that looks out the window. A U-shaped kitchen takes up one end of the home, while a bathroom sits at the other end, with a tiled shower stall and washer/dryer unit. The house has two queen-sized lofts, and one is easily accessible via stairs with a neat pipe railing I’ve never seen before! You can purchase the home for $115,000 and take over the lot lease. What do you think?

This is the Fjallstuga A-Frame plans by the Small House Catalog. While we’ve shown you an earlier version of these, they recently updated the plans and added some new renderings to show off the possibilities!

The great thing about these plans is the first-floor bedroom at the back of the A-Frame, which means you don’t have to climb a ladder or stairs into a loft bedroom. That space could be used as an office, storage, or a place for kids. The plans have a 3/4 bathroom, a compact kitchenette, and a spacious living room with a wood-burning stove. The plans are available from the Small House Catalog for $149.99. What do you think?

CargoHome builds all kinds of amazing shipping container homes, and this “short” container home is no exception. The rooftop deck, which you get to via a spiral staircase, adds square footage with a view! Plus the large glass front doors open wide to let the outside in during nice weather.

To “fit it all in” without a loft, the house has a Murphy bed that’s a couch by day and sleeping space by night. The house also has a galley kitchen, bar seating, and a small bathroom at the very back of the house. You can purchase this model, as pictured, for $83,438 in Elm Mott, Texas.

After traveling the world with nothing but a backpack, living tiny was nothing new to Gemma. But building a tiny house from the trailer up? Well, that was a whole new challenge, but one she met gladly with the help of her dad.

She has a whole off-grid set-up, including solar panels, a rainwater catchment system, and a composting toilet. Recycled materials helped keep costs down, such as donated insulation, and she chose to use MDF instead of plywood to further save money. You’re going to love the tour of this creative space!
